Step 1
Have you ever seen a watch with a bird flying out of it? Perhaps on the Cuckoo Clock! The fun sounds of these birds come from their beaks, so let’s start with that. Draw two pointed triangles for the beak.
Step 2
Now, for the head, draw an upward curved line with a small line behind it. Also, add another curved line along the bottom for your neck. Finally, draw an oval with another circle inside for the eyes.
Step 3
Now start painting the wings. Make a long curved line along the bottom and end it with two feather points. Then draw some inner bumps for the feather detail.
Step 4
For the tail feathers, extend two rows at an angle and end with a square tip. Cuckoos can be over 1 foot long.
Step 5
For the belly, draw a small curved line under the wings. Add a doodle below for more details.
Step 6
Now draw the chest pattern by adding a few lines under the wings. Finally, add a few small points for the feet. Finally, color the bird.
