You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

Step 1

Start by drawing an oval. This will help you shape the girl’s face.

Step 2

Erase the edges of the oval, leaving the side and bottom edges. Connect these loose pieces using curved lines to contour the cheeks and temples.

Step 3

Extend two long and curved lines below the head. They form the neck and shoulders.

Step 4

Use two long, curved lines to create a bouncy hairstyle. The lines should overlap at the top of the head and run down to the shoulders.

Step 5

Detail hair around forehead, bleaching as needed. Draw long and curved lines that form a rough “M” shape above the face. One leg of the letter “M” should overlap the shoulder. Draw short, curved lines through the humps of the “M” to give the hair depth. Extend a curved line from the face to make contact with the long leg of the letter “M”, forming a tassel.

Step 6

Add texture and detail to the hair. Use the center of the “M” to position the center section of the hair. From this imaginary line, draw curved lines extending to the edge of the hair and along its length.

Step 7

Do the same for the opposite side, extending the curves from the hair down the length of the hair. Notice that the lines do not meet at one part.

Step 8

Draw the girl’s eyes. Use a series of curved and straight lines to draw triangular eyebrows. Indicate the tip of the nose by placing a short line at the inner end of each eyebrow. Then use three lines to create an incomplete double teardrop shape below each eyebrow. These are the eyes. Draw three consecutive smaller circles within each circle and shade between the two smallest circles, indicating the pupil. Draw a curved line above each eye, joining it at the outer edge, to form the eyelid.

Step 9

Use two “C” shaped lines to draw the sides of the nose and two small, shaded ovals to represent the nostrils. Draw a straight line to divide the mouth and curved lines above and below it to represent the lips.

Step 10

Color your woman’s face. Then improve your skills by drawing people of all types: male, female, child, adult, face, full body, realistic shapes, cartoon characters, and more.
