Please see the drawing tutorial in the video below
You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below
Step 1
Draw the tape box: Start by drawing a box-like circle on the side with the cord lock button. This will be the starting point.
Step 2
Draw a tape measure: Extend a straight line from the coil in the direction you want the tape measure to go. This line represents the tape itself.
Step 3
Adding details to the scroll: Around the small circle you drew earlier, sketch a larger circle to create the outside of the scroll. Add some details like moldings or handles to make it look more realistic.
Step 4
Draw measurement marks: Along the line representing the tape, draw small lines perpendicular to it at regular intervals. These lines represent measurement marks on the tape.
Step 5
Measurement labels: Add numbers or units of measurement (like inches or centimeters) next to some marks to represent measurements.
Step 6
Add texture and detail: To make your drawing more realistic, add some texture to the tape by drawing small horizontal lines across it. You can also add any additional details you want, such as a brand logo on the roll or a clip at the end of the tape.
Step 7
Color your drawing (Optional): If you want, you can add color to your drawing. Typically, tape measures are yellow with black markings, but feel free to get creative with your colors!
