Step 1
Start by sketching the vase. Use a short curved line for the top and a long curve, double back to itself, for the body of the jar.
Step 2
Draw a curved line through the top to cut the mouth of the jar. Use two curved lines to enclose a gentle two-pointed shape, outlining the lips of the vase.
Step 3
Draw curved lines through the neck of the vase.
Step 4
Start decorating the vase. Use curved lines to outline a flower or pentagram.
Step 5
Continuing to decorate the vase, draw part of the large star shape using curved lines that meet at gentle points.
Step 6
Draw another star shape on the body of the vase.
Step 7
Turn your stars into flowers by drawing a small circle in the center of each star.
Step 8
Draw small ovals between the petals.
Step 9
Draw the foot of the vase. Extend two short straight lines below the vase and connect them with a curved line. Then tape the leg with another curved line.
Step 10
Color your cartoon vase. Many of the world’s most famous vases are adorned with a variety of bright colors.
