Drawing Tom and Jerry step by step can be a fun and rewarding activity. Here is a simple tutorial to draw them: We will draw each character separately.
Drawing Tom:
Sketch the basic shapes: Start by drawing a large oval for Tom’s body and a smaller oval for his head. Connect them using simple lines to represent his neck.
Added feature: Draw two small circles for his eyes. Add students inside these circles and they will look to the side with angry expressions. Draw a triangle for the nose below the eyes. Then, sketch his mouth slightly below his nose with a grinning expression.
Ears and Beard: Add two triangles on top of the head to make the ears. Draw three lines on each side of the face for the beard.
Body Details: Draw his arms and legs using curved lines. Tom’s arms should be skinny and slightly curved, Add small ovals at the end for his hands.
Drawing Jerry:
Basic shapes: Start by drawing a small circle for Jerry’s head and a slightly larger oval for the body. Connect them using a curved line for his neck.
Facial features: Draw two large circles for the eyes, slightly overlapping the cheeks. Add the student to the center, looking forward with a mischievous expression. Draw a small triangle for the nose, just below the eyes. Then, draw a smiling mouth with two small curved lines for the cheeks.
Ears and Beard: Add two small triangles on top of the head for the ears. Draw three short lines on each side of the face for the beard.
Arm: Draw his arm using curved lines and place it over Tom’s hand. Jerry’s arms should be short and skinny, while his legs are a bit longer. Add small ovals at the ends for his hands and feet.
Tail and final touches: Sketch a long, thin tail that curves up from the back. Add any additional details, such as stripes or markings on his body.
