Step 1
Begin sketching Captain America by drawing his head. Use curved lines to enclose the irregular shape of the head.
Then, use additional curved lines to draw the ears, eyes, and the outline of the mask’s opening. Detail the inside of the ear and draw successively smaller ovals inside the eye.
Step 2
Draw a bold letter “A” on the forehead. Use curved lines to sketch the nose, mouth, chin, and neck. Enclose several narrow rectangles on one side of the head to form a wing-like symbol.
Step 3
Next, draw the chest muscles and the bulging shoulders of the cap. Use curved lines to contour the shoulders, upper arms, and pectoral muscles.
Step 4
Draw the shield’s oval shape, then connect it to the arm, using curved lines to sketch the lower arm. Then, use overlapping curved lines to draw the clenched hand.
Step 5
Draw several smaller ovals consecutively inside the shield, with a five-pointed star inside the smallest oval. Draw another star on the chest.
Then, use curved lines to sketch the slant and body lines. Line the rib cage with short lines and line the belly with vertical stripes.
Step 6
Draw the remaining muscular arm using a series of overlapping curved lines.
Then, draw the belt and buckle by sketching a series of curved rectangles. Use unconnected curved lines to sketch the basic shape of the panties.
Step 7
Use a series of overlapping curved lines to sketch the muscular legs. Then, contour the muscles using additional curved lines.
Step 8
Draw the remaining leg, again using a series of overlapping curved lines. Accompany the irregular shape of the foot on the bottom of the leg.
Step 9
Draw Captain America’s other boot. Attach a curved rectangle to form the cuff of the boot. Then, use curved lines to enclose the irregular shape of the boot. Draw the top border using a short line.
Step 10
Your Captain America sketch is now complete. Color your cartoon of this famous comic character.
His suit is mainly blue with red and white details. Likewise, his shield has red and white stripes with a blue inner circle.
