Step 1 :
Start at the front of the truck by drawing the shapes that will become the front fender and hood.
Step 2 :
To make the grille, draw a square with rounded corners at the front of the hood. Draw a rectangle for the front bumper, slightly arching the two horizontal lines and corners.
The end of the bumper should be slightly narrower than the middle to appear curved.
Step 3 :
Draw a square taxi with rounded corners. Add a large rectangle for the front windshield and a vertical rectangle with rounded corners for the side windows.
Step 4 :
Rulers will be very useful for this step because there are many straight and long segments. Draw a horizontal L for the top of the long bed.
Above the cab, draw a rectangle the same width as the cab. Draw the L-shaped and rectangular seams.
Step 5:
Draw a rectangle from the cabin to the end of the L. This is the side of the truck. Inside this rectangle, draw slightly curved rectangles with triangles inside them to pattern the side of the dump truck.
Look carefully at each shape and draw what you see.
Step 6:
Draw two rectangular side mirrors, each with two narrow rectangles to attach the mirror to the cab. Draw a long, slightly curved rectangle for the muffler; add a pipe that attaches the muffler underneath the cabin and draw an exhaust at the top of the muffler.
Step 7:
Draw three large ovals for the tire. Inside each oval, draw two smaller ovals, inside the other. Draw a rectangular ladder under the door and add a short line connecting the ladder to the cockpit.
Step 8:
Draw a center inside each tire. Draw the gas tank as a circle with one end being a circle.
Step 9:
Make the tires look real by adding depth lines. Then add a second set of rear tires. Draw the front tire under the right bumper.
Step 10 :
Draw and sketch a square on each front fender for the headlights. Draw two more squares for the lights in the bumper. Draw a square with a rounded corner behind the rear tire for the fender.
Use your ruler to draw straight lines inside the grille. Draw many small circles around the silencer and draw four taxi lights on top of the cab.
Step 11:
Use a marker to trace the lines you want to keep and erase any excess pencil lines. Finally, color it to your liking.
