You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below
Step 1
Lightly outline a rough kidney shape to indicate where the bunch of grapes will go. On it, lightly sketch three rough heart shapes to show the position of the leaves.
Sketch two trunks, one with a curved line and the other with a curved line.
Step 2
Using jagged lines, draw the edges of the leaves. Prove that the angle of a folded leaf is by drawing a jagged line inside a curved line. Draw the outline of the trunk on the right with two slightly jagged lines.
Step 3
Fill a kidney with a grape by drawing several ovals. Show that some grapes are behind others by leaving incomplete ovals.
Step 4
Draw veins on each leaf. Do this by outlining two curves down the center with groups of smaller curves branching out to the edges. Draw the curly body with two wavy lines.
Step 5
Cover the leaves with lines along the veins. Cover the edges of the leaves with shorter lines. Polish the bottom of the grape with short strokes.
Bold the slightly hidden grapes with lots of short lines. Shade the large trunk by following the contours of the trunk.
Drawing so many perfect circles probably gave you a lot of practice. But in the next section, instead of drawing perfect circles, you’ll draw a few less-than-perfect circles, and other interesting shapes.
