Step 1
Draw a circle. This will serve as the top of the hat.
Step 2
Draw an almond-shaped oval over the circle. This is the basic shape of the rim.
Step 3
Outline small folds that are almost square. Curve the lines to show the unevenness of the fabric. When you’re satisfied, erase the unwanted lines and outline the drawing a bit.
Step 4
Draw a ribbon on the right part of the hat. Start by drawing two lines slightly above the brim of the hat. Then draw a circle with two triangles as the base for the bow. Add a few bends and folds around to make the ribbon look more natural.

Step 1
Let’s start at the top of the hat, describe it in terms of such a geometric figure. Don’t try to make the lines too dark and obvious in the early stages.
Step 2
Now draw the brim of the hat in the form of a large oval. The lines of this stage should also be very light and almost transparent.
Step 3
Let’s turn our sketch into something more like a hat drawing. To do this, draw a stripe separating the top of the hat and the brim.
Step 4
For now, set the pencil aside and arm yourself with something as simple as an eraser. Clean the artwork with it and depict the folds in the front of the hat.
Step 5
Describe a bow on the side of the hat. This arc should be placed on the strip described in the third period. Don’t forget to add folds to the bow.
Step 6
Using the eraser again, completely erase the hat drawing from the excess lines. Using a darker pencil or ink, outline the artwork to make it sharper, bolder, and more aesthetically pleasing.
Step 7
You can paint the hat in any color. We decided to use sand color for the hat itself and brown for the strap, but you can paint it in your favorite color.
