STEP 1:
DRAWING A Oval
First, create the snake’s head by drawing an oval
STEP 2:
DRAW A LONG DRESS
Next, we’ll start creating the body by drawing a long detour.
STEP 3:
MORE Cobra’s hood
Then move back to the snake’s head and attach it to the shape of a leaf. This will be the hood of the cobra.
STEP 4:
CREATE THE BODY
Now it’s time to use the original line we created to create the real body of the snake. This layer should be relatively thick until it reaches the tail, where it will taper to a point.
STEP 5:
WOMEN’S SOLID WELL
The abdomen of the cobra is distinct with a horizontal scale pattern. Recreate this by outlining the area that will be the cobra’s belly, then fill it with multiple lines.
STEP 6:
DRAWING FACILITIES
Now we can go back to the head of the snake and fill in the face. First, add a large, round eye near the top of the snake’s head. Then cut off the muzzle and add a nostril. Finally, we will create the mouth by sketching a long line that starts at the distal edge of the head and surrounds the snake’s snout.
STEP 7:
SOME DETAILS
Next, you can further add detail to the snake by adding textures to the belly and hood and even painting scales.
However, if you don’t want to draw the scales twice, you can also wait until you have ink to create them.
STEP 8:
VIEWING INQUIRY DRAWINGS
Finally, it’s time to finish your snake illustration by painting it with ink. So, using your favorite pen (preferably one with a small nib), carefully trace all of your pencil marks.
Then, after going over the general shape of the snake, you might consider filling it with scales. While this is unnecessary and quite time consuming, it has the nice effect of making your drawing appear more realistic—especially if you plan to leave it in black and white.
