Step 1

Start by drawing Tails’ face. Use a small oval for the nose and extend curved lines above and below it to form the muzzle. Use two large “U” shaped lines to outline the eyes. Inside each eye, draw two consecutive smaller ovals and color the inner oval.

Step 2

Use overlapping curved lines to draw the mouth – the top and bottom, as well as the tongue and dimples in the corner.

Then use curved lines that intersect at points to draw the pointed fur on Tails’ cheeks and forehead. Outline the shape of the head using curved lines.

Step 3

Use curved lines that intersect at points to draw tufts of hair on the opposite cheek. Then outline the triangular ears. Draw another, smaller triangle inside each ear and cross it with a curved line.

Step 4

Use curved lines that intersect at points and a large “U” shaped line to draw the pineapple belly. Connect the chest to the head with short lines, forming the neck. Then, outline the torso, arms, and cuffs using overlapping curves.

Step 5

Hand drawn of Tails. Use overlapping curves to create each finger. Then use a pair of lines to start outlining the other arm.

Step 6

Draw the other hand and the cuff, again using overlapping curves. From the torso, extend parallel lines to form the legs. Connect those lines with a large “C” shaped line. Then, draw the top of the sock using overlapping curved lines.

Step 7

Extend two more lines from the torso to form the other leg. Connect the lines with a curved line and use additional curves to enclose the top of the sock. Use long, curved lines to outline an oval shoe section.

Step 8

Next, you will draw what Tails is famous for. Use curved lines of different lengths to outline the tail. Allow some lines to meet at sharp points.

Step 9

Draw a second tail below the first one, again using curved lines that intersect at sharp points. Draw a zigzag line on each tail.
