Step 1
Start by drawing Spider-Man’s face. Use a long, curved line to outline the head. Note the contours of the cheeks and chin.
Then draw the eyes. Use two curved lines to outline each eye, only gentle at the inner corner and sharp at the outer corner. Then draw a matching shape in each eye.
Step 2
Use curved lines to outline Spider-Man’s chest, belly, and muscular arms. Notice how a series of curves is used to contour the muscles.
Draw a curved “V” near the top of the arm. Then draw the Spider-Man’s Spider-Man logo in the center of the chest. Surround an elongated circle for the body and use “L” shaped curves for the legs.
Step 3
Next, draw Spider-Man’s arms, ready to spin. Draw two curved lines to form the arms. At the bottom, draw a curved line to form the gloved wrist.
Use curved lines to draw outstretched thumbs, little fingers, and index fingers. Attach overlapping ovals for the middle and ring fingers.
Step 4
Use curved lines to outline the remaining lower arm and hand. Bandage the arm with a curved line to indicate the end of the glove.
Step 5
Extend a long, curved line and duplicate it back to enclose each leg and foot. Note the contours that give the legs a muscular look.
Also, notice that the legs overlap and the lower leg overlaps the top leg.
Step 6
Draw a spider web pattern on Spider-Man’s face. Start by drawing a small pentagon between the eyes.
Extend the curve from its corners to the edges of the face. Then draw curved lines between them.
Step 7
Draw a pattern on Spider-Man’s gloves. Draw a curved line down between the hand and wrist. Draw curved lines on each side of this line and on each finger.
Step 8
Draw a spider web pattern on Spider-Man’s chest and shoulders. Draw vertical curves on his body. Then draw shorter curves between them.
Step 9
Wrap the foot with a thick curved line to indicate the upper part of the boot. Then draw the web pattern on the boots.
Draw one or more curved lines along each boot, with shorter curves in the center and each side. Knee contour with short curves.
Step 10
Color your chibi Spiderman cartoon. He wears a red and blue Spidey suit.
