You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below
Step 1
Start by drawing a long and curved line like a semi-circle. This will form the lid of the teapot.
Step 2
Unscrew the handle of the teapot, erasing as needed. Use a curved line to enclose the irregular circular shape.
Step 3
Draw the bottom of the lid. First, connect the ends of the half circle using a long, curved line. Then draw curved lines around the bottom of the lid. Note that the lines on the sides and middle don’t quite meet.
Step 4
Trace the edges of the teapot. Extend a long, curved line from each side of the cap to create an incomplete circle.
Step 5
Unplug and erase when necessary. Use overlapping curves to outline the faucet and a short curved line to indicate the hole in the nozzle.
Step 6
Draw the handle of the teapot. Use a long, curved line to outline the outer edge of the handle, noting the dough at the bottom. Use overlapping curved lines to draw the inside of the handle.
Step 7
Draw the base of the teapot. First, draw a line between the edges of the outline, but do not join it. Then draw another curved line that overlaps both edges and completely encloses the shape.
Step 8
Decorate your teapot with a festive flower. First, you draw a circle to form the center of the flower. Then draw curved lines around its edges. Draw a “U” shaped line to enclose a semicircle. These are the petals of the flower.
Step 9
Draw flower stalks. Extend a curved line below the flower. Then, use curved lines to enclose the leaves, pointed at the ends, on each side of the stem.
Step 10
Color your cartoon teapot.
