Step 1
Start by drawing a small circle to form Lucario’s head. Then, use three small lines to outline the bottom of the head and the pointed muzzle. Extend two short lines downward to form the neck.
Step 2
Draw a series of small, joined, “V”-shaped lines along the neck and shoulders. Then extend the curves downward to outline the body. Notice how they diverge to form wide hips. Then draw a curved line in the center of the shape to separate the legs and belly.
Step 3
Draw a small “W” shaped line in the center of the stomach and attach it to the sides using curved lines. Extend a rounded triangle from the center of the chest, forming a horn. Enclose an irregular shape at the shoulder. From here, extend a long, curved line to outline the arm. Notice how the lines of the arms gradually diverge to form a baton-like hand. Use short lines to separate fingers and arm bands with a series of short serrated lines.
Step 4
Draw the other arm. Enclose a curved shape at the shoulder. Then extend a pair of curved lines to outline the shape of the arm. Bandage the arm with a “V” shaped line and use short lines to separate the fingers.
Step 5
Draw Lucario’s ears. Place two tall triangles on top of her head using curved lines. Draw a rounded triangle on the back of the hand to form the protruding horns.
Step 6
Draw Lucario’s hair. Extend the rounded, rough teardrop shapes from the base of the head.
Step 7
Erase the guide lines from Lucario’s head and body.
Step 8
Draw Lucario’s tail using curved lines. Notice how it curves in the middle and is pointed at the top. Then draw the legs. Outline each leg using a series of curved lines. Notice the points on the ankle and the ball of the foot. Close each foot with “U” shaped lines, indicating the toes. Detail the knee with short curves.
Step 9
Face details. In each ear, draw a small triangle with an inverted “V” shaped base. Close the eyes with curves; it is pointed at each end. Draw an oval inside the eye and fill in a smaller oval inside it, forming the iris and pupil. Draw a curved line on the lower part of the face and a short line to indicate the mouth.
Step 10
10. Lucario color. He is usually gray, blue, and yellow.
