Step 1
For the first step of the bunny face tutorial, we’ll be using a pencil right now.
The reason for that is that in this step we will draw shapes there to guide us and will not show up in the final image.
To do this, simply draw a large horizontal oval, and then add another smaller oval over its top. Finally, add two vertical ovals, slightly diagonally above the top oval that will form the later ears.
Step 2
Sketch your rabbit’s face
You can start using a darker crayon or pencil for this bunny face step.
Using the ovals that you drew in step 1, simply draw the outline of the head and ears over them. The reference image will show you how all of these should come together to form the outline.
Step 3
Next, draw the inside of the rabbit ears
We’ve finished sketching your bunny, so in this step of the how to draw a bunny face tutorial we’ll focus on the insides of the ears.
To do this, just draw some shape inside the ear which is mostly round except the bottom will have some small curves there.
Step 4
Now draw the bunny’s facial features
Your bunny face drawing wouldn’t be complete without a face! For that reason, we will add a cute face in this step.
The face is pretty simple, and all you need to do is use two circles for the eyes to get started.
Then you can use the oval for the nose, and then have two curved lines going down from the nose for the mouth. It’s so easy to make a cute little face for your bunny face.
Once done, we only have a few details left to add before we can start coloring!
Step 5
Perfect the final details of the face in this step
In this fifth step of the tutorial on how to draw a bunny face, we will add some final details before moving on to the final step.
First, you can add three lines to each cheek for the whiskers of the bunny’s face. Finally, you can give the bunny its signature teeth.
To do this, you can draw several lines going down from the mouth with one line down the center.
With that, you’ve added all of our details! Before proceeding, you should take this opportunity to add any additional details that you would like.
Some ideas could be to draw the rest of the bunny’s body or maybe you could create an Easter themed background!
