Step 1
Draw a parakeet, a popular and beloved parrot species. First, let’s draw mine. It’s a very close cone at the bottom for the beak. Add another small curve just below the mine point.
Step 2
For the Cockatiel’s head, draw a line and pull it down into some spikes.
Step 3
Next add the eyes by drawing a circle. Add a larger oval below for the top pattern. Then add a curve under the beak for the neck and another curve that obstructs the upper part of the back.
Step 4
Now continue the body and wings as shown by creating the feathers on the wings. Make another arc under the neck for both the chest and abdomen.
Step 5
Now draw a foot underneath the bird by taking two lines to the bottom toes. Add small sharp claws at the end of the toe.
Step 6
Now, add the front leg in the same way as the first leg.
Step 7
Perfect your cockatiel by drawing long thin lines to form the tail feathers. Add another similar tail shape on the longer tail for more detail.
Step 8
Finally add color to the parrot. The parrot’s color can be chosen by you as your favorite color such as blue, red, yellow…
