You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1

Start by sketching the stem and roots. Use wavy curves for the trunk. Send out many different sized roots. For each origin, stretch a pair of curves and let them meet at a point.

    Step 2

Start drawing the first branch. Use a long curved line. At the top of it, use some curved lines to form a “Y” shaped section, with each spike ending in a pointed end.

    Step 3

Continue drawing bony branches and twigs. Allow each pair of lines to meet at a sharp point.

    Step 4

Draw another branch that diverges from the first branch. Each set of curves must meet at a sharp point.

    Step 5

Draw another branch diverging at an odd angle. Note the zigzag structure of the branch. Allow each set of lines to meet at sharp points.

    Step 6

Fill in the blanks with more branches. Allows pairs of curves to meet at points.

    Step 7

Draw the last branch of the tree. Notice how a part hangs down as if broken.

    Step 8

Use a long, curved line to enclose an irregular shape on the trunk, revealing a hole. Then place another irregular shape inside the first one.

    Step 9

Textured bark with curves of different lengths.

    Step 10

Color your cartoon tree. Dead plants are usually brown, but sometimes black. Some trees, such as birch or Australian gum, have white stems and branches.

How to Draw a Tree Branch Step By Step

Please see the drawing tutorial in the video below

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1

Draw a wavy, curved line. This begins the outline of the tree branch.

    Step 2

Continue the wavy line, directing it downwards. Draw another wavy line below it. Connect the lines at the end using a “V” shaped line. This forms twigs that separate from the twigs.

    Step 3

Continue the lower wavy line roughly parallel to the top line.

    Step 4

Erase the bottom part of the twig. Extend a pair of wavy lines from the opening, forming a twig. Split the branches several times, connecting each piece of wire with a “V” shaped line.

    Step 5

Erase the top part of the twig. Stretch the curves upwards, allowing the lines to diverge into multiple branches. Attach each one with a “V” shaped line.

    Step 6

Draw branches extending from the branches, using pairs of wavy lines. Use multiple lines and allow them to diverge into different branches. Use “V” shaped lines to connect them at the ends.

    Step 7

Start drawing leaves along a set of branches. For each leaf, draw two curved lines protruding from the branch and let them meet at one point. Then draw a curved line down the center of each leaf to represent the central vein.

    Step 8

Start drawing the leaves on the next set of branches. Again, use a pair of curves for each leaf and a third curve to form the central vein.

    Step 9

Draw leaves on the last branch. Use two curved lines that meet at a point to form each leaf, with the third line forming the central vein.

    Step 10

Color your tree limbs. Branches often have brown bark; Leaves can be green, yellow, orange, red, brown, or even purple depending on the season and plant type.

How to draw a pine tree step by step

Please see the drawing tutorial in the video below

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1

Start by drawing the top part of the beautiful pine tree. Draw a slightly curved triangle with lots of curves at the bottom on top of your paper.

This forms the top layer of leaves of the pine.

Starting at the top make sure that there is enough space for the remaining layers of the pine.

Make sure that the vertex will be drawn at the top by creating reference lines. Just draw an intersecting horizontal and vertical line on your paper and use it as a guide.

The vertical line at the top of the horizontal line marks where you should draw the top layer.

    Step 2

Draw the first two layers of the pine tree
Everything from this point on is easy and it’s all repetition (with slight variations in size).

Create the second layer of the pine tree by drawing another shape similar to the one we drew earlier just below the top layer.

Make it slightly larger than the first one, similar to the one shown in the illustration above.

    Step 3

Next, draw the third layer of the pine tree
Similar to the previous step, you draw an additional layer of leaves of the pine tree. Make it look a little different by changing the look of the curves, as shown in the illustration above.

    Step 4

Then draw the fourth layer of the pine tree
In this step we will draw the fourth layer of the pine tree.

Make it look bigger and wider than all previous layers.

    Step 5

Then draw the fifth layer of the pine tree
This is another iteration. Create the fifth layer of the pine tree by drawing a similar shape. As usual, this layer will be slightly larger than the previous one.

Don’t forget to add some unique touches to those curves!

    Step 6

Next, draw the sixth layer of the pine tree
In this step we will draw from the second to the last layer of the pine tree.

Remember to make it bigger and wider than the previous one!

    Step 7

Now let’s draw the last layer of the pine tree
This is the last and bottom layer of your beautiful pine tree.

Try to make it the widest and most unique of them all!

    Step 8

Then draw the trunk of the pine tree
Now that you’ve completed all the layers of the pine tree, it’s time to create the trunk. Simply draw two parallel vertical lines with a horizontal line at the bottom.

The trunk supports the pine tree. Make it strong and sturdy and draw it similar to the illustration above.

    Step 9

Add pattern and texture all over the pine tree
Before adding color to the tree, you must add the final touches of the drawing by adding some curves on the surface of the pine tree layers.
