How To Draw Hibiscus Flower step by step

Please see the drawing tutorial in the video below

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1

This is the first step of the hibiscus drawing tutorial, and we will start by drawing two petals for the flower.
At the center of the flower there will be a lot of solid black with the veins of the petals extending beyond the petals. With that in mind, you can draw round petals that connect to this central shape.
The petals will have rather rough edges to create more detail.
Once you’ve drawn these two petals and their thick line detail, you’ll be ready to move on to step 2, where we’ll build more details on the flower.

    Step 2

Next, draw another petal and stamen
In the second part of your hibiscus drawing, we will add not only another petal to the flower, but also the stamen sticking out from the center of the flower.
Then you can draw lots of little circles on the end of the pollen that we mentioned earlier. Once you’ve drawn the stamens, you can add another large petal to the top of the hibiscus.
This petal will look like the ones you drew earlier, and will have thick line details on it.

    Step 3

Draw another petal for the hibiscus
We will be adding another petal to your flower in this step of the hibiscus drawing tutorial.
You did a great job drawing these petals in the previous few steps and now all you need is to draw another one for the flower.
This shape will be on the top right of the flower and once it’s drawn we’ll only have one more to add, so let’s move on!

    Step 4

Now draw the last petal for the flower
Before we add the final details to your hibiscus, we just need to add one more petal.
This petal will fill the gap near the bottom of the flower you left in the previous step, and will have the same outline and detail as the previous sections.
Then, in the final step, we’ll finalize the details and elements.

    Step 5

    Complete your hibiscus drawing
You’re almost ready to finish your flower on the last step, but first, we have some details to add in this step of the hibiscus tutorial.
You can finish by drawing some leaves on the right hand side of the flower. These leaves will have some rounded edges with some jagged lines for the border.

Once you have copied these leaves, you have finished all the details! Before continuing, you can also add some elements of your own.

There are tons of great ideas you can make, such as painting these flowers in the garden with some of your favorite flowers.

This is just an idea that you can try, but you can get creative and customize your drawing as you like!

It will be great to see the creative ways you will complete this beautiful painting, so have fun and let your imagination run wild!

    Step 6

Complete your hibiscus painting with some colors
The final step of your hibiscus painting will be to finish it off with some amazing colors!

Start by drawing a cone with a rounded bottom as if you were looking at the rose from an angle, so that you can see the top as well as the sides of the rose.

    Step 2

In the center, draw the petals in a circle as shown in the image below, keep adding the petals but as you get closer to the outer corners of the rose the petals will become more rounded.

    Step 3

You can see in the photos below the shape of the petals and how they are arranged.

    Step 4

Now it’s time to draw the light bulb. However, keep in mind that we only see a small part of it, due to the angle from which we drew the rose.

    Drawing Academy

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1

Start by drawing an irregular triangle to the sides to form the upper beak. Draw a similar shape just below the upper mine to create the lower beak.
Remember, the upper tip should be larger and more pointed than the lower beak, as shown in the illustration above.
Remember that the mine should be placed on the top left of your paper. To ensure this, create reference lines by drawing an intersecting horizontal and vertical line on your paper.
This tutorial will divide your paper into four rectangular blanks. The space in the upper left corner is where you should draw the beak.

    Step 2

Draw a curved shape around the beak that we drew in the previous step. This outlines the head of the pigeon. When drawn correctly, the figure should look quite similar to a hook.
Since the pigeon faces to one side, the beak should be on the left edge of the pigeon’s head.

    Step 3

Extend the lines of the head shape by drawing an uneven oval that connects directly to the head. This creates an outline of the pigeon’s body.
Remember, use light strokes when sketching. Avoid pressing down too hard with the pencil so you can easily erase any parts of the contour later that you don’t need.

    Step 4

Draw a wide, U-shaped curve at the front of the bottom part of the pigeon’s body. Note that the U-shaped curve must have diagonal sides and a flat bottom. This forms the right leg of the pigeon.
Don’t forget to remove the border that overlaps the inside of the leg. This helps to keep the structure of the pigeon more delicate and most importantly keeps your drawing neat and orderly.

    Step 5

Repeat the previous step on the opposite side of the pigeon’s lower body.
This forms the pigeon’s left leg, which is located at the back because the pigeon is facing to the side.

    Step 6

Draw three oblongs connected with curved ends to create feathers.
These feathers must be joined together to form a rectangle on the pigeon’s lower back.

    Step 7

Draw an oval with a slightly pointed bottom on the side of the pigeon’s body. Then draw diagonal lines at the bottom of the wings to create the illusion of feathers.
This also adds texture on the wing, making it look soft and realistic.
Don’t forget to erase any lines on the pigeon’s body that overlap the inside of its wings!

    Step 8

Below the pigeon’s right foot, draw a paw with four claws.
This forms the pigeon’s right foot, as shown in the illustration above.

    Step 9

Repeat the previous step underneath the opposite leg to create the left clawed foot. At this point, both legs of the pigeon are complete.
Then draw a circle at the top of the pigeon’s head, next to the beak. This outlines the dove’s eyes.

Then draw a smaller circle inside the eye to create the pupil. Finally, add shade to the entire eye while leaving the pupil unobscured.

After completing this step, your pigeon drawing should now be complete. All that’s missing is a range of colors to make your pigeon colorful

    Step 10

For this tutorial on how to draw a Japanese flower, we will start with the first flower that will be attached to the branch on which the subsequent flowers will also be attached.
To draw this flower, we will draw five petals, and each petal will have a rounded square.

At the center of the flower there will be a small circle that will have lines extending from it. Each of these lines will have a smaller circle at the end.

Now that you’ve drawn this part of the flower, we’ll then draw some thin, angular shapes for the branch it’s attached to.
Then draw some curved leaves at the base

    Step 11

Continuing with this Japanese flower drawing, next we will add some more flowers to the branch.
The first of these flowers will be on the left, and this flower will be drawn to closely resemble the first flower you drew.

Once we’ve finished painting, we’ll add another flower, but this one will look a little different. While the previous flower was opened, this one will be closed and facing to the right.

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1

Start by using a series of curved, interconnected lines to outline the round center of the flower. Then use curved lines to outline three wavy petals.

    Step 2

Complete the circuit of the five petals using wavy curves. Draw small lines inside the center of the flower to give it texture. Next, outline the petals of a nearby flower. For each petal, use a wavy curve.

    Step 3

Draw another flower, this time from a different angle. Use a wavy line to draw a circular center between the petals drawn in the previous step. Use wavy curves to outline three additional petals around the center.

Extend curved lines from the center to indicate the anthers that carry pollen grains. Draw a small oval at the end of each other. Next to the flower, stretch two curved lines and let them meet at one point, forming a leaf.

    Step 4

Use five “U” shaped lines to outline another flower above the first two. Draw more leaves below them. For each leaf, stretch two curved lines and let them meet at a point. Now, it’s starting to look like a flower garden!

    Step 5

Draw an oval in the center of the chrysanthemum outlined in the last step. Then draw leaves next to and above it. For each leaf, stretch two curved lines and let them meet at a point.

    Step 6

Turn some leaf-like shapes into the petals of another flower. Use a series of connected curves and a series of curves that meet at points to create its center and the rest of its petals. Then draw a stem with leaves extending above the flowers. Draw a long curved line for the trunk. For each leaf, stretch two curved lines and let them meet at a point.

    Step 7

Draw more leaves at the top of the stem. Draw another stem with leaves in the bottom corner of the bouquet. Sketch another daisy using a series of “U” shaped lines for the petals and an oval for the center.

    Step 8

Continue to lengthen the bottom body. Draw more leaves, and another flower with “U” shaped petals and rounded center.

    Step 9

Extend the stem with the leaves still. Then bring the drawing to life by adding animated butterflies. These simple insects can be drawn using four “U” shaped lines, with the lines of the upper wings slightly larger than the lines of the lower wings.

    Step 10

Color your beautiful cartoon pattern. Both flowers and butterflies come in a variety of colors, so get creative. Notice how we shaded the butterflies to show the narrow body and the patterns of the wings.

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1

Start by drawing a small oval to form the center of the flower.

    Step 2

Extend a curved, wavy line from the center of the flower. Curve the line around, bend it to form a point between the sawtooth waves, then rejoin the line to the opposite side of the oval. This forms the first petal. Then, extend another wavy line from the center, bending it to meet the face of the first petal. This surrounds the second petal of the flower. Finally, repeat this process on the opposite side of the first petal, forming the third.

    Step 3

Extend wavy, curved lines from the center of the flower to enclose at least two more petals, filling in the space at the back of the flower.

    Step 4

Erase parts of the oval to allow the petals to “flow” into the center of the flower. Adjust the lines as needed to ensure that each petal is in contact with the center.

    Step 5

Draw two curved lines down from the flower, parallel to each other. This forms the stem of the flower.

    Step 6

Extend a few parallel lines, narrowly spaced up from the center of the flower, to form the pattern. Delete as needed. At the beginning of the style, allow diverging lines. Draw a small “V” shaped line between them and connect the lines at the end using small circles. Extends the small, elongated oval from the style. This forms the pistil, which, together with the style, is known as the pistil.

    Step 7

Draw the leaves. For each leaf, include a pointed shape using a series of short lines that meet at jagged points. Draw a curved line down the center of the leaf to indicate the central vein and shorter lines extending outward from the leaf veins.

    Step 8

Draw another pointed leaf, again outlining it using a series of short and curved lines. Draw a vein in the middle of the leaf and the other secondary veins that will diverge from the first vein.

    Step 9

Draw a final leaf, using the same process as described earlier. Finally, detail the petals by extending the curved lines outward from the center of the flower.

    Step 10

Color your hibiscus flowers. These tropical flowers come in a variety of colors such as red, pink, white, orange and yellow.

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1:

To start drawing a simple rose, first doodle a teardrop-shaped egg, slightly tilted to the right.

    Step 2:

As shown in the figure, draw a half U, starting from the left and connecting it to the bottom of the teardrop egg. Make the U slightly curved at the top.

    Step 3:

Connect the U-head to the teardrop shape.

    Step 4:

Add two small lines at the top to appear like the inner petals of the rose.

    Step 5:

Now draw two more small petals at the top of the rose.

    Step 6:

Drawing a rose is simply incomplete without its stem and leaves. In this step, draw two parallel vertical lines at the bottom of the anthurium. Make sure that the lines are drawn freely as they don’t have to be perfect.

    Step 7:

Draw the leaves of the rose on either side of the stem and paint the flower at the bottom.

    Step 8:

Your rose drawing is now ready. Bring the flower to life by coloring the rose with red or a color of your choice, as roses come in many shades. Color the stems and leaves with green.
