    Step 1

Draw the head shape. This shape may be different. You can make it look more voluminous by adding buns to the ears or maybe adding a curl etc.

    Step 2

Draw in the eyes, as shown in the picture. These are kind of anime style, as they are much easier than actual cat’s eyes. They also make the cat look much better.

    Step 3

Added facial features like nose, mouth, beard and eye color, black. Creation! Is it possible to add some fangs to the mouth, or the tail of a fish? Or how hard can you draw a cat?

    Step 4

Draw the collar, torso and legs. Again, creativity is key. Especially the collar. A tough kitten may have a skull and fish bones. A sweet cat can have flowers and hearts. Finally, a favorite kitten can have lots and lots of diamonds!

    Step 5

Add the tail, hind legs and more details to the paws. You can make the tail shaggy to give it an “alley cat” or fluffy look, as if it were a “kitten”.

    Step 6

Add details like claws and patterns to the tail and face. Spots, stripes, etc.

    Step 7

Add color and you’re done! But you don’t have to be. Draw a garden in the background or a simple food bowl, or whatever you can think of.
