Step 1
Start by drawing Kermit’s head. Draw a slightly protruding circle at the chin and cheeks.
Step 2
Draw Kermit’s eyes, erasing guide lines as needed. For each eye, sketch a circle, then fill in a small circle in the center. Draw a curved line through the small circle.
Step 3
Draw Kermit’s mouth using two wide “U” shaped lines. Use another “U” shaped line to outline the blade and draw a short line down its center.
Step 4
Use a series of “V” shaped lines to outline Kermit’s collar.
Step 5
Draw an oval to outline Kermit’s body.
Step 6
Use “V” shaped lines to outline Kermit’s arm – notice the rounded point of the elbow. Then use a series of curved lines to outline Kermit’s hands and fingers.
Step 7
Draw Kermit’s remaining arm, erasing guide lines if necessary. Use two wide “V” shaped lines with rounded points. Then use curved lines to complete the hand. Distinguish fingers by using narrowly spaced lines.
Step 8
Use a pair of wide, “V” shaped curves to outline Kermit’s leg, bent at the knee. Use curved lines to outline the foot and a series of small “V” shaped lines to represent the toes.
Step 9
Use curved lines to draw Kermit’s remaining legs and feet. Loop the toes using a series of small “V” shaped lines.
Step 10
Color the frog Kermit. He is famously green with a lighter green collar.
