How To Draw Snoopy Step By Step

Please see the drawing tutorial in the video below

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1:

Start with the oval in the top half of the page. Below this oval, draw a shape that resembles a large drop of water. These will be the basic shapes for Snoopy’s head and body.

    Step 2:

Next, draw two lines that intersect through the circle, one vertical and one horizontal. Draw the horizontal line so that it is slightly curved and touches the upper part of the body shape. These will be the building lines that will help you place Snoopy’s features later on.

    Step 3:

Now draw Snoopy’s ear on the left side of his head below the horizontal construction line. Draw it so it looks like a U.

    Step 4:

Draw Snoopy’s arm so that it looks like a U shape but a bit longer and inside the left side of the body shape.

    Step 5:

Draw a long, flattened oval below Snoopy’s body and attach it to his body using two vertical lines. Draw a similar oval hidden behind the first one on the right side. Attach this oval to the body by drawing one more vertical line. These will be Snoopy’s legs and feet.

    Step 6:

Well, you now have a basic Snoopy shape, so it’s time to tighten up your drawing. From this point, press harder with your pencil to get bolder lines and a clearer sketch.

    Step 7:

Determine the shape of Snoopy’s head by following the basic instructions for his head, but dip the top right part towards the center. Shade in his ear, making sure not to draw his head over his ear.

    Step 8:

Draw an oval on the left side of the vertical build line just below the horizontal build line. Shade it in except for a small oval at the top to indicate luminance. This will be Snoopy’s nose. Draw a wide, U-shaped curve near the bottom of Snoopy’s head, stroking the edge of his head for his mouth.

    Step 9:

To the left of the vertical construction line and above the horizontal construction line, draw two circles with curved lines above them that look like the number 6 and shade them inward. These are Snoopy’s eyes. On each eye on the top of his head, draw a thick, curved line to show his eyebrows. Draw the right eyebrow on the outside of his head.

    Step 10:

Draw a thick line just below Snoopy’s neck to represent his collar. Darken according to the shape of his body except for the bottom of his legs.

    Step 11:

Squeeze the shape of Snoopy’s arm and draw two small lines inside to represent his fingers. On the right side of the body, draw a leaf-like shape using a few curved lines to make Snoopy’s tail.

    Step 12:

Darken Snoopy’s feet and draw a few vertical lines to the right to represent his toes.

    Step 13:

Draw an oval-like shape inside Snoopy’s ear to indicate where he is, and shade it in. Make it a rough spot – don’t draw it too perfectly. Draw another point as a semicircle on the back on the left side of the body and shade in. Draw in another shape where Snoopy’s head meets his neck on the right side to represent his other ear.

    Step 14:

That’s it! You now have a nice sketch of Snoopy, Charlie Brown’s pet dog from Charles M. Shultz’s Peanuts comic strip. You can stop at this quick drawing for a rough, rough look or for a more finished look by continuing to the step below.

    Step 15:

For a complete, ink-filled look, carefully review the final outlines with a pen or marker. Wait for the ink to dry, then erase each pencil mark with an eraser. You now have a complete ink drawing of Snoopy! No need to color Snoopy because he is a black and white cartoon character. Oh that’s it! How to draw a Dog

Please see the drawing tutorial in the video below

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1

Draw an irregular circle shape to outline the shape of the dog’s head.

Emphasize both sides of its face when drawing the head to form chubby cheeks. This will definitely make your dog look more adorable!

Make sure that the outline of your dog’s face is drawn in the upper portion of the paper. This ensures that there will be sufficient space at the bottom for its body.

    Step 2

    — Outline the Dog’s Head and Body

Draw an outline of the dog’s body right underneath its head. As you can see in the illustration, its body is positioned sideways because the dog is looking at its left side.

You can opt to follow the drawing in the illustration exactly how it is or position the dog any way you like!

    Step 3

    — Put a Collar on the Dog’s Neck

Draw a long, narrow rectangular shape across the dog’s neck to create a collar. Don’t forget to adorn the collar with a jewelry dangling at the bottom!

Feel free to style and design the collar any way you want! You can add patterns on the collar itself, or customize the ornament hanging down from the collar.

    Step 4

    — Draw the Dog’s Front Legs

Draw the dog’s front legs with a paw right below its chest. Don’t forget to add three toes on each paw!

You can create the paws by simply drawing separate curved lines to form the toes.

    Step 5

    — Next, Draw the Dog’s Hind Legs

Now that we have successfully drawn the dog’s front legs, it’s time to draw the ones at the back to complete its set of legs.

Create a bent hind leg by drawing a curved facing towards the bottom part of the dog’s back. Afterwards, draw a paw with three toes right underneath the leg.

Since the dog is facing sideways, only one hind leg should be visible, as shown in the illustration.

    Step 6

    — Afterwards, Draw the Dog’s Tail

Form the tail of your dog by drawing a curved, narrow line with a tapered end. Draw the outline of the tail upward to make your dog seem happy and excited.

In the illustration, we drew a pointed tail, but you can definitely draw a furry tail or any shape or form of tail you prefer.

    Step 7

    — Then, Draw a Pair of Dog Ears

Continue by drawing an ear on each side of the dog’s face. We think droopy or folded huge ears would look best, as shown in the illustration.

However, don’t hesitate to draw the ears however you want, whether it’s standing upright or cropped.

Remember, the structure of the dog’s ears greatly depends on its breed and the emotion it is feeling.

    Step 8

    — Now, Draw the Nose and the Mouth

On the bottom portion of the face, draw an upside down triangle shape to outline the dog’s nose.

Then, draw two connected upward curved lines to create the lips. Now, to structure the mouth, draw a curved V-shaped line right underneath the lips. Don’t forget to add a curved line inside the mouth to create the tongue!

    Step 9

    — Draw the Eyes to Complete the Drawing

Finish your drawing by completing your dog’s facial features.

Draw two upright oval shapes above its nose to outline the eyes. Then, draw two tiny circles inside the eyes. Shade the entire eyes except the tiny circles.

These two unshaded small circles will serve as the “glimmer” in your dog’s eyes, adding a more dramatic effect to its facial expression.

Now, it’s time for the most exciting part—choosing the colors and coloring your dog drawing!

The coat of a dog comes in four primary colors: black, white, brown, and red. However, these primary colors exist in various shades, thus so can the color of a dog’s coat.

This gives you a wide range of color options to choose from when coloring your dog drawing.

Wish you have a nice drawing!

How to draw a cartoon Dog

Please see the drawing tutorial in the video below

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1

Now, this first step will be very easy. You have to decide how big you want your dog to be and then draw a circle to suit your size. Add guides for the face, and then draw the shape of the body.

    Step 2

Next, start outlining the puppy’s head shape as you see here, and then draw the mouth.

    Step 3

Now you will draw the shapes of the soft ears and add some eyebrows. Once done, go ahead and draw the adorable pup’s nose and the rest of the mouth. Don’t forget to pull your tongue out.

    Step 4

Now it’s time to let this puppy draw a pair of big egg-shaped eyes. Color in his eyeballs or pupils and remember to leave some white spots behind for extra glare. Next and last, draw the chest, front legs and chubby feet.

    Step 5

It’s time to finish this drawing on how to draw a puppy. All you need to do is pull the dog off its back, hind legs, and hind legs. Add the toe lines and then the cute puppy tail. Erase the principles and shapes you drew in step one.

See how easy that is. Now you have a dog of your own even if your parents say you can’t keep an animal in the house. Well done guys!
