How to Draw a Pinecone Step by Step

Please see the drawing tutorial in the video below

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1

Start by drawing a tree branch. Use curves of different lengths to form the tree. Allow them to meet in sharp or gentle points.

    Step 2

Draw another tree growing from the top of the branch. Draw a pair curve and let them meet at a sharp point. Then, pine needles emerge from this drawing tree. For each needle, use two curved lines that meet at a stroke point. Notice that the metal near the base of the tree is larger than the metal near its tip.

    Step 3

Stick along the longest needle along the longest tree. For each needle, draw two curved lines and let us meet at a stroke point.

    Step 4

Draw another tree growing from the bottom part of the current tree. Draw the tree using curves that meet at a point. Then, draw the needle along the branch, using two curved lines for each, so that we meet at one point.

    Step 5

Start automatically plotting the result. At the end of the remaining tree, wrap an irregular shape like a triangle, upside down. Then place a tetrahedron below this one. Finally, place a small triangle icon below the previous shapes. The “leaves” of the conifer are called the tops.

    Step 6

Continue to scale on top of each other. Notice the points are shaped like triangles or tetrahedrons, each of which has points pointing downwards.

    Step 7

Continue drawing beams on top of each other of the resulting concatenation. Note that as the pine grows, it also becomes taller.

    Step 8

Continue drawing spikes of the resulting pins. Notice that the stem is smaller than the top at the resulting top.

    Step 9

Draw strokes, three sides to complete the resulting fill along the edges and ends.

    Step 10

Color your results. Most results are brown, which contrasts well with the dark green of the pine needles.

How to draw a pine tree step by step

Please see the drawing tutorial in the video below

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1

Start by drawing the top part of the beautiful pine tree. Draw a slightly curved triangle with lots of curves at the bottom on top of your paper.

This forms the top layer of leaves of the pine.

Starting at the top make sure that there is enough space for the remaining layers of the pine.

Make sure that the vertex will be drawn at the top by creating reference lines. Just draw an intersecting horizontal and vertical line on your paper and use it as a guide.

The vertical line at the top of the horizontal line marks where you should draw the top layer.

    Step 2

Draw the first two layers of the pine tree
Everything from this point on is easy and it’s all repetition (with slight variations in size).

Create the second layer of the pine tree by drawing another shape similar to the one we drew earlier just below the top layer.

Make it slightly larger than the first one, similar to the one shown in the illustration above.

    Step 3

Next, draw the third layer of the pine tree
Similar to the previous step, you draw an additional layer of leaves of the pine tree. Make it look a little different by changing the look of the curves, as shown in the illustration above.

    Step 4

Then draw the fourth layer of the pine tree
In this step we will draw the fourth layer of the pine tree.

Make it look bigger and wider than all previous layers.

    Step 5

Then draw the fifth layer of the pine tree
This is another iteration. Create the fifth layer of the pine tree by drawing a similar shape. As usual, this layer will be slightly larger than the previous one.

Don’t forget to add some unique touches to those curves!

    Step 6

Next, draw the sixth layer of the pine tree
In this step we will draw from the second to the last layer of the pine tree.

Remember to make it bigger and wider than the previous one!

    Step 7

Now let’s draw the last layer of the pine tree
This is the last and bottom layer of your beautiful pine tree.

Try to make it the widest and most unique of them all!

    Step 8

Then draw the trunk of the pine tree
Now that you’ve completed all the layers of the pine tree, it’s time to create the trunk. Simply draw two parallel vertical lines with a horizontal line at the bottom.

The trunk supports the pine tree. Make it strong and sturdy and draw it similar to the illustration above.

    Step 9

Add pattern and texture all over the pine tree
Before adding color to the tree, you must add the final touches of the drawing by adding some curves on the surface of the pine tree layers.
