Step 1
In the first step of the Scooby-Doo tutorial, we’ll start with his muzzle and nose. First, his nose will be drawn as a rounded triangle.
Then you can use some curves around the nose to contour the muzzle.
As you can see in the reference image, there will be a dividing line in the center of the muzzle where it connects to the nose.
Step 2
Draw the bottom of his mouth and chin
Continuing with your Scooby-Doo drawing, you’ll add the bottom of his mouth and chin.
First, use a curved line below his muzzle for the bottom lip. Then you can use another curve for his chin below that.
Step 3
Next, draw the top of his head and ears
Now that you’ve drawn its nose, muzzle, and mouth, we’ll add the crown and ears in this step of the Scooby-Doo tutorial.
You can use some simple curves for the sides of his head, then draw his pointy ears.
The top of the right ear will bunch up slightly at the top.
Step 4
Now draw his neck and collar
For this part of the Scooby-Doo drawing, you will draw his neck and collar. For his neck, you can simply extend two straight lines down from his head.
You can then draw a thin and rounded rectangle for his collar as shown in the reference image.
Step 5
Start drawing Scooby’s chest in this section
We’ll be moving away from Scooby’s head for now as you draw a chest for him in this step of our Scooby-Doo drawing tutorial.
To draw his chest, simply use two curved lines that mirror each other below his head. The reference image will show you how long these bust lines should be.
Step 6
Next, start drawing his front legs
This step of your Scooby-Doo drawing will see you add its front legs.
You can start by drawing some curves for his shoulders and then give him some slim legs ending in curved shapes for his toes.
Step 7
Now draw some back legs for Scooby
Scooby is sitting in this image, so we’ll be drawing his hind legs to reflect that in this step of the Scooby-Doo drawing tutorial.
The hips and top of the hind legs will be drawn with some curves. His feet will then be drawn with a combination of straight and curved lines for his toes.

Step 8
Draw a tail for Scooby
This part of your Scooby-Doo drawing will be an easy one for you to do! All you need to do is draw his tail out from the back of his right shin.
You can draw this with a curve like in the picture we provided. It’s as easy as that and you’re ready for the final details!
Step 9
Added final details for Scooby
Before you add some color in the final step of this Scooby-Doo tutorial, we only have some details and final touches to add! First, you can draw his little eyes with some simple ovals.
