Please see the drawing tutorial in the video below

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1

There will be two types of fruit in our drawing of an orange – one whole, the other chopped. Therefore, we will draw two circles; one should be in the front and stack the one in the back. It will look something like this.

    Step 2

Now let’s add the details that will allow us to understand what each orange is. Add a stem for the orange in the background, and draw a smaller oval in the front circle; it will show the cut line.

    Step 3

Next, in the center of the oval, we begin to draw the cut orange slices. They are roughly the same size and shape.

    Step 4

At this stage, to make the drawing more interesting, draw some orange leaves. Both are behind the orange.

    Step 5

We are almost done drawing the orange. Now all that remains is to color. For fruit drawings, you should use watercolors, markers or colored pencils. I used succulent shades of orange mixed with red and yellow, and I painted the leaves and stems green. If you want, you can add a shadow on the table with fruit.

As you can see, it’s simple to draw an orange; even a child with no art experience can handle it. Try our other lessons.

How To Draw A Lizard Easy Step By Step

Please see the drawing tutorial in the video below

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1

When drawing an animal, starting at its head and working your way towards its legs is key. So that’s exactly what we’re going to do in this step.

Draw the outline of the lizard’s head where you want it to face forward. For example, if you want it to face the left side, then draw a border on the left side of your paper, as shown in the illustration.

    Step 2

    Sketching a lizard’s head
Extend the lines of the outline that we drew in the previous step to fully structure the head of the lizard. Don’t forget to draw an overlapping line on the bottom inside of the head to create the distinct pointed mouth of the lizard.

Remember, both the upper lip and lower lip of the lizard should be slightly pointed. Use the illustration as a guide to help you form your lizard’s mouth quickly and easily.

    Step 3

Create a rough sketch of the lizard’s body
Draw an oblong oval attached to the lizard’s head to outline its body. In the meantime, don’t hesitate to draw various shapes and patterns on the surface of the lizard’s skin if you’re feeling a little more artistic! Did you know that some lizards have distinct patterns printed on their skin?

Avoid pressing down too hard with the pencil when drawing the outline. It is important to sketch with light strokes so that you can easily erase some unnecessary lines from the outline later.

    Step 4

Now let’s draw a tail attached to the body
To structure the lizard’s tail, draw a narrow, elongated shape with a pointed end sticking out of the bottom back of the lizard’s body.

Remember that the tail should be thick at the top and thinner and thinner at the top, as shown in the illustration.

    Step 5

Then draw the right hind leg of the lizard
Structure the right hind leg of the lizard by drawing an angled line with four toes visible at the bottom. Make sure to draw the legs at a 45-degree angle to look like a crawling lizard.

Lizards typically have five toes on each foot. But in this case, only its four toes are visible. Remember that each toe of the right foot has rounded tips, similar to the illustration above.

    Step 6

Now draw the left hind leg of the lizard
Now, draw the hind leg on the opposite side by drawing a curved line with three visible toes attached to it.

Since the lizard is drawn to the side, its right hind leg will not be fully visible, as shown in the illustration.

    Step 7

Next, Draw the left front leg of the lizard
Draw another leg in front of the lizard’s body. Similar to the back leg we drew in the previous step, the right leg is at a 45 degree angle.

This time, however, the angle of the right foot should point towards the right, as shown in the illustration above.

    Step 8

Complete all four legs of the lizard
On the opposite side, draw a curved triangle above the space between the lizard’s head and body.
