This is the first time a German dog is introduced to a newborn puppy and a cat living together in a harmonious family. The fact that the cat lets the dog get close to both her and her kittens is proof of her trust in the shepherd. So I once had a dog named Sapphire, who was best friends with my cat, Belle. Belle is cold and uninterested in all my other pets. However, when we still had Sapphire, and Belle really loved Sapphire, and would play with her from time to time.
