You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below
Step 1
Start by drawing a circle. This will form the top of the Link.
Step 2
Enclose a curved shape below the head, using a curved line. This shows the shape of Link’s function.
Step 3
Below the head, use a series of curved lines to enclose an approximate rectangle. This will form Link’s body.
Step 4
Sketch on Link’s hair. For each curl, use two curved lines that meet at a point. Allow the lines of each lock to attach to or overlap with the others. Note that some curls are longer and wider than others.
Step 5
Start adding details to your character. Use pairs of curves to form each arm, surrounded at each end by shorter curved lines. Use a series of curves and “U” shaped lines to form the hand. Draw a “V” shaped line below the head to form the neck of the garment and cross it with a horizontal line. Draw a curved line along one side of the torso and a circle in the center of the torso. Then draw a spiral in the circle. Attach the circle to the edges using parallel lines, forming a belt.
Step 6
Attach two triangles, one large and one small, to one side of Link’s head to represent another lock of hair and a hat. On the other side, place an irregular shape within another to form the ear. Draw sets of lines to form legs, connected at the end by a curved line. Draw another curved line on each leg to represent the top of the boot.
Step 7
Draw Link’s sword and shield. For the shield, place a rectangle with a curved bottom. Draw a similar shape in the first shape and draw this shape using two sets of horizontal lines. Then draw vertical lines on each side of them. Use the circles to craft the remaining fist. In the hand, enclose a rectangle to represent the hilt. Place a circle at the end of the hilt. Then use straight lines to outline the blade.
Step 8
Use curved lines to draw each eye. Ball a circle in each to indicate students. Draw a thick curved line above each eye to form the eyebrows. Use curved lines for the nose, mouth, and chin.
Step 9
Color link. Usually, he is depicted with green clothes and blonde hair.
