India’s Tadoba National Park reaches brilliant temperatures during the summer months. The heat and scarcity of water cause animals to gather in common water pits. Sharing these water resources can lead to dangerous encounters like this one. The fight begins when the lazy bear and its cubs approach the place where the tiger is drinking. The tiger immediately lunged at the bear when it entered the water. The fight goes on for 15 minutes. Each had a significant chance of injury, but the sloth was able to protect its cubs.
