Director Spike Jonez recreates the New York hip hop trio as a 1970s cop show with hilarious results.There has never been another band like the Beastie Boys. They are 100% true and unique and invented their own genre and sound. They need to be inducted into the Hall of Fame quite frankly. The distance they bridge with their music, the number of generations and the amount of culture cannot be taken for granted.
