Draw basic guidelines for a kitten’s face
To start drawing the kitten’s face, lightly draw a circle for the head. I am using a 2B pencil. Then draw a horizontal guide line with a slight curve to reflect the tilt of the head upwards. Then sketch a curved vertical line. Remember, the kitten’s head points to our left. Next, sketch two more curves parallel to the first horizon guide.

Draw the outline of the kitten’s eyes. The last two horizontal lines that I sketched in the last step are intended to help define the upper and lower positions of the eyes. The tricky thing about cat eyes is that they have a sharp diagonal angle from the inner corner to the outer corner. The inner corners of each eye should be aligned with each other between the middle and bottom horizontal guides.

We can start drawing the next nose. If necessary, adjust the level of the eye so that the right eye is slightly lower than the left eye, as shown in the reference photo. This way, the bottom of the right eye should be able to align with the top of the kitten’s nose. Sketch a pointed bottom for the nose.

Below the nose, draw shapes that form the mouth area. Sketch a line from each side of the nose that curves down. Sketch a vertical line down the middle of the nose and beyond the lower end. Use diagonal lines to connect this midline to each lower end of the mouth area.

We can draw the mouth next. I will draw an open mouth more clearly than the reference. Draw a line for the hole just below the nose. Outline another short line just below that. Then we can start drawing the kitten function.

Complete the outline of the head
Let’s continue to shape the outline of the kitten’s head. Extend the jawline from below the mouth area. Next, start shaping one side of the kitten’s face. I’m not drawing correctly on my circle guide from the very first step. I’m drawing along it instead, because our little kitten’s head is much smaller than our circular guide.

Draw one side of a kitten’s face
Next, identify the top of the kitten’s head. First, determine the location of the ear. The right ear is aligned slightly to the right of the eye. Note the distance between the eyes and the top of the head. It exposes the top of the head so it is lower. The other ear is in line with the right side of the nose.

Complete the outline of the ear
To draw the outline of the first ear, we marked the starting position of an edge along the head. For the remaining edge of the ear, mark the location of the outer edge of the eye. For the head, mark above the inner corner of the eye. Now we can complete the ear contour by joining the marks.

Next, we need to find where the other ear will connect. The reference photo shows the edge of the head at a distance from the corner of the eye about two eye-widths apart. The ear itself connects below eye level. The upper end of this ear is slightly lower than the first. Connect the ear at the base and complete one side of the head.

We no longer need most of these guides, so we can start deleting them now. As you erase, be careful to maintain the contours of the kitten’s face. Very carefully erase the remaining guides inside the kitten’s face contour. Try your best not to erase the outline of the facial features you’ve drawn so far.

Adding details to the kitten’s eyes
Next, we can start working with the eyes. A kitten has a student very different from a human. Draw a vertical slit slightly to the left of the center but still curved over the kitten’s eyeball. Do the same for the other eye.

Then draw very lightly the outline of the highlights in each eye. There is a main focus in each eye. Both have irregular shapes. The first one cuts the pupil about in half and covers its lower half. The second one is similar but has a slightly different shape.

Sketch along the inner edge of each eye. Place a rounded edge in the corners to give the eyeball more shape. Lightly cover the eyelids. Shade around the highlights so as not to leave any pencil marks. Then put another layer of shine on the eyes. Make this layer a little darker.

Shaping nose and feather patterns
Next, start shaping the nose. Define the top edge. Then outline the bottom of the middle line as well as the bottom end. From the bottom of the nose, start drawing lines inward to shape the nostrils. Curve these lines towards the outer edges and back towards the top. Then draw curved lines towards the inside of the nostrils.

I had a few hermit crabs when I was a kid and I took good care of them so they live a long time. That’s what makes me sad when I see a bunch of broken claws, eye stalks and legs. We buried it and were very sad but the next day we looked in the barn and all the crabs were still there. The crab had actually molted and just took this opportunity to shed its claws, legs, and eye stalks.
Growing up with a bunch of really great pets is not something I can or want to do now. I love them all (for the most part). Minus the screams from the love birds. I also volunteer at my favorite Pet Store and that’s how I discovered I’m not a bird person. Especially the large parrots screaming shrill. I don’t regret working there, because since that time I have owned exactly 0 birds. My only exceptions are sparrows and canaries, for they make such lovely melodious calls. Our experiences shape us, just because you can own something truly amazing, that same thing can become your nightmare. As the years go by, I still think people owning pets is the worst idea. Animals develop, behavioral problems due to our inability to take care of them properly, due to our species differences. With that said, pets will always be an issue, and in 2022, there’s so much information online that people have no excuse not to be well-informed. I know life is short, and we only have one life. But do not destroy other animals, in this way, to make your child better.

I have been lucky in my life to have many of the creatures mentioned in this video. I have managed a few pet stores over the years, the first being a small independent, family owned chain, the second a national chain.

These animals are very cute. I’ve always wanted to own them. I grew up in a house with lots of unusual pets. A goat, sheep, duck, all the usual kind. I’ve always wanted a pig and a guinea pig. But I don’t think they’re legal where I live, we have some of the strictest restrictions in the world. I have 2 dogs now, a worm farm and I had an Extatosoma tiaratum but it died, but its eggs are hatching now so I have plenty.
My family has quite a few goats, one of the best things is that they are friendly and of course cute, but you have to make sure they have something like a big rock or a stump or something like that to they play, although adults don’t play as much as they like to play, one of the most frustrating parts with my goats is that they can jump very high, so make sure you have a really big fence to keep them! My mom had to make her own and put sticks on top of our fence to keep them in place, but they’re pretty much worth it, especially when they’re little, they’re so cute

Drawing Cat Full
For the full cat drawing, start by drawing two main shapes, the head (a square square shape) and the body in an almost boxy shape. The shape of the body varies considerably depending on the pose, so this step will vary depending on the drawing.
Then add triangular ears to the top of the head, followed by cylindrical legs that attach to the lower part of the body, you can consider these ice cream sticks because they are similar in shape.
As a final step we add the cat’s face and draw the tail, it’s a tall box with a rounded top, make the box slightly curved and you will get the shape of a cat’s tail. Make sure to grab the free worksheet at the top of this page to help you practice these steps!
Step 1
So let’s start the tutorial on how to draw a sitting cat. Unlike humans, a cat is taller when sitting. Try describing this pose with simple geometric shapes. Draw two identical circles and a large, irregular oval, as shown in our reference.
Step 2
We connect the two figures above using two smooth vertical lines. Then you can add contours of the ears that look like a pair of triangles. Finally, draw the outline of the tail, under the largest shape from the first step.
Step 3
Now let’s draw our cat’s face. Use small, smooth, curved lines for this. Try to avoid putting too much pressure on the pencil during this step.
Step 4
In this step, we will detail the parts of our cat’s face. To form the final eye cut, close the two curves from the previous step. Inside each eye are long, narrow pupils. The cat’s nose looks like a small inverted triangle. There are three circles under the nose.
Step 5
We hope that you didn’t get tired of this tutorial on how to draw a sitting cat. Let’s add contours of the inner parts of the aurora. It looks like a pair of triangles. Also, with the help of scanning short straight lines, we outline our cat’s mustaches.
Step 6

Step 1
To start this tutorial on how to draw a puppy, we will start with your puppy’s face. Using the reference image as a guide, carefully draw a line with some curves in it.
The top of the head should be round with a much longer curve to the right. After you are satisfied with the look of this step.
Step 2
Now draw a first ear for your puppy
Now that you have started drawing the puppy’s head, we can add ears to your puppy.
This puppy will have some soft, pig ears that can fold down on their own. Our left ear will be completely folded, so you won’t be able to see the inner ear of this ear.
This will be created with another very curved line that can fold on its own.
Step 3
Next, add the other ear
We will add the other ear in this next step. This one will also be folded and with the angle of this ear, you will be able to see a bit of the inner ear.
You can use the reference image in our tutorial to add another line that has the same curve as the previous one.
Step 4
Give your puppy a cute face
The head and ears are done at this stage in the how to draw a puppy tutorial, so now we are going to add a cute face to your puppy. There are a few factors to face, so we’ll take it one step at a time.
Starting with the eyes, we will make them big and round to make them look cuter. They will be made up of some very curved lines for the border with some circles inside.
Mentioning reference images helps a lot so they look like examples. They will have some short curves on top to look like some cute lashes to them.
You can also use some simpler circles with dots inside for a less detailed look if you like!
Once you’ve finished drawing the eyes, you can draw the cute little nose. The lower mouth will be very curved with the mouth and tongue open. Once you’ve completed the face, it’s time to do step 6!
Step 5
Now we will draw the back and the tail
For step 5 of this puppy drawing tutorial, we will be using another curved line going down from the head to form your puppy’s back.
You can then draw a small but curved tail to show that your cute pup is feeling happy!
Step 6
Draw some legs for your puppy
Draw your puppy sitting comfortably on the floor, and we will show how he is sitting by drawing some legs for him in this step.
The front legs will be much straighter and they will extend with one leg from below the head and the other from the chest down.
You can then draw some cute paws at their ends as they appear in the image.
The legs at the back will be much more rounded to show that the puppy is sitting comfortably.
Step 7
Let’s add some final details
You’re pretty much done with your puppy drawing now, but it could still use some final details!
We’ll show you an idea of some details you can draw, but don’t be afraid to draw some patterns or other details you like!
For details, we drew a circle around the eyes as well as one on the back to give the dog character. Will you go with these or will you add some of your own?

Now finish it with some color

Step 1
Start by drawing a circle. This will help you outline the dog’s head.
Step 2
Use a series of connected, curved lines to outline the dog’s full furry cheeks. Connect the cheeks with a “U” shaped line, outlining the dog’s lower jaw. Then use a curved line and a “U” shaped line to enclose the dog’s open dog.
Step 3
Erase the guides of the original circle.
Step 4
Detail of the dog’s face. Use curved lines to enclose teeth and skip in the election. Draw a rounded, inverted triangle to indicate the nose. Set a small oval inside it and create shadows between them. Opposite the eye, draw three small circles in a row, one inside the other. Draw the legs first. Use a series of curved lines that meet at the slip points to draw a shaggy chest and shoulders. Then extend a pair of public lines to outline the legs. Use overlapping “U” shaped lines to enclose the feet and toes. Then, draw a curved triangular nail at the tip of each toe.
Step 7
Draw the remaining front leg. Use curves that meet at the slip points on the upper leg and a pair of curves for the bottom. Enclose the feet with “U” shaped lines and draw triangular claws on top of each toe.
Step 8
Outline the dog’s muscles and hind legs. Use long, curved lines for the back, abdomen, and legs. Note the point of the ankle. Close the feet with overlapping “U” shaped lines with miniature triangles at the top. Then, use curves and lines that meet at the slide points to create body hair and appear outward quickly.
Step 9
Extend a long, curved line from the hips to form the tail. Surround the bottom of the tail with a series of overlapping curves. Then, place curved lines over the eyes to form the eyelashes.
Step 10
Color your activity screen. In the wild, dogs come in many colors – black, white, brown, gray, yellow, yellow and red. Some have other signs or symptoms. Creative!
