Step 1
Start by drawing the head of the chibi fox. Draw a curved line for the top of the head. At each end of the line, draw short lines that meet at the jagged points. These hairs form tufts of fur on the fox’s cheeks. Connect the ropes using a curved line, enclosing the head of the chibi fox.
Step 2
Draw ears. Glue a curved triangle to each side of the fox’s head. Erase the guide lines to open the tip to the ear. Then draw an upside-down heart on each ear to create detail for the inner ear.
Step 3
Draw an irregular oval near the bottom of the face to form the nose. Draw smaller ovals inside it to indicate the shine. Then draw a vertical line from the nose to the end of the face, indicating the mouth.
Step 4
Use a long, curved line to enclose an irregularly shaped body.
Step 5
Draw the hind legs, erasing the guide lines as needed. Line the curved leg with a “C” shaped line. Then, use curved lines to enclose the foot and toes.
Step 6
Draw the pins first, erasing the guide lines as needed. Extend a few lines from the torso and use “U” shaped lines to enclose the feet and toes. Repeat on the second leg. Then use curved lines to outline the lower abdomen.
Step 7
Draw a chibi fox tail. Use two long, curved lines and let them meet at a sharp point. Tape the top of the tail with a zig zag.
Step 8
Draw the eyes of the fox. Start each eye by drawing a large circle. In each circle, draw two smaller circles. Draw the corners of the eyes using two curved lines that meet at a point. On the opposite side, draw short and curved lines to indicate the eyelashes.
Step 9
Complete your fox details. Wrap the front leg with a zig zag. Draw curved lines from the nose to the sides of the face and include curved and pointed shapes to represent the eyebrows. Finally, draw curved lines below the nose to indicate the whiskers.
Step 10
Color your fox. Red foxes are usually orange or reddish in color with white and black markings. Other foxes can be gray, silver, brown, tan, solid white, or solid black.
