Step 1

Start by drawing a guide grid. This will help you set the facial features in the following steps.

Draw a vertical line, then draw a circle around it. Draw a horizontal line below the center point of the circle. It must intersect the vertical line at a right angle and meet the edges of the circle.

Step 2

Use a long, curved line to outline the ears and lower half of the face. Connect the ear to the head where the horizontal grid line meets the circle. The chin line should touch the bottom of the vertical line.

Detail the inside of each ear with a curved line.
Use grid lines to place the mouth. It will be on the shorter horizontal line, in the middle of the vertical line.

Step 3

Erase the bottom of the circle and the bottom horizontal line.
Then use the mesh to place the nose and eyes. They should be placed between the vertical line and the ear. The top of each eye should meet the horizontal line, with the upper eyelid curved.

Position the negative eyebrow above the eye, a short distance from the horizontal line.

Draw the nose between the horizontal line and the bottom of the face, just to the left of the vertical line.

Step 4

Remove grid lines from the face. Then start drawing the glass. Use thick lines for the bottom of the lens, nose pads, and ear pads. Use thin lines for the upper part of the lens, enclosing the eye.

Step 5

Next, draw the girl’s hair. Use overlapping curves and lines that meet at sharp points. Don’t forget the curved earrings and hairpin.

Step 6

Outline the hair on the head by drawing an extra outline outside the original circle. Use two curved lines to draw the neck and complete the hair at the back of the head with curved lines that meet at the jagged points.

Step 7

Remove the rest of the original circle from the top of the drawing
