Please see the drawing tutorial in the video below
You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below
Step 1
Start by drawing the first petal. The central petal has an irregular shape, created using a serrated wavy line. Then, wrap the wavy petals equally on all sides of the first petal.
Step 2
Continue wrapping the petal shapes around the center of the flower. Use a jagged, wavy line for each.
Step 3
Next, you draw the calyx, the green bulb to attach the flower to the stem. First, draw a “W” below the flower. Extend a curved line from the edge of the “W”, then double it to itself to meet the flower.
Step 4
Start drawing the petals of the second flower. Use a wavy jagged line to enclose the irregular shape of the central petal. Then use the same lines to enclose additional petals on all sides of the first shape.
Step 5
Continue drawing more petals along the edges of the flower, using a wavy, serrated line to enclose each petal.
Step 6
Draw a “W” shaped curve below the flower. Glue a “U” shaped line below it to form the calyx.
Step 7
Extend a pair of parallel, narrow, evenly spaced lines from the bottom of each sepal. Connect each set of lines at the end using a short line. These are the flowers. Notice that the trunks are tilted at opposite angles and that they cross each other at the bottom.
Step 8
Remove part of the stem to draw the leaflets. Extend the curved lines up from the bottom part of the trunk. Connect them at the top with a “W” shaped curve that cuts across the stem.
Step 9
Draw small leaves extending from the stem. For each leaf, use two curved lines and let them meet at a point. Draw another curved line down the center of the leaf to indicate the ridge.
Step 10
Color your carnations. These flowers are commonly found in pink, white, purple, red, and even green colors. Then check out our other cartoon tree drawing tutorials.
