The first step is to draw your pig’s snout. To do this, draw a horizontal oval. Make sure to leave enough space above and below the snout for the rest of the pig’s face and body.

Step 2:

Draw your pig’s nostrils and mouth

The second step is to draw more details of your pig’s face. Draw two thin ovals inside the first wide oval you just created. These will complete your pig’s nose.

Add a curved smile below the nose to create a mouth for your pig.

Step 3:

The shade in the pig’s nostrils

The muzzle is one of the most recognizable parts of a pig, so we can show some love to it! For the third step, you’ll want to color in the piglet’s nostrils.

Step 4:

Draw your pig’s eyes

Time for the eyes! To draw your pig’s eyes, create two ovals on either side of the nose. As shown above, you’ll want to make sure your eyes are roughly the same distance from your pig’s nose.

Once you’ve finished drawing the overall outline of the pig’s eye, draw an oval of the same shape inside each of the first ovals. They will become the pupils of your pig’s eyes.

Step 5:

Shadows in the eyes

Next, you will shade the eyes of your pig. You can use any color you want, but I recommend only shading them with a pencil if this is your first pig drawing.

Step 6:

Draw pig ears

To draw the pig’s ears, create two circles that taper towards the pig’s eyes. Please see the illustration above for reference.

Step 7:

Draw your pig’s face shape

Now that we have the details of your pig’s face, it’s time to put all those cute features into one head! For this step, please draw a head outline around what you just drew. See illustration above for reference.

Step 8:

Draw your pig’s body

To draw the body of the pig, make a line on either side of the bottom part of your pig’s head. This line should taper towards the bottom of your pig’s head, come out a little as you go further down, and then shrink back a bit.

Step 9:

Draw your pig’s bracelet

Now it’s time for some cute little piggy arms! For this step, create two arms as shown above.

Step 10:

Draw the head of your pig’s leg

Now, you will want to draw two curved lines that join the sides of your pig’s body, as shown above. This part will later become the top part of your piglet’s legs.

Step 11:

Draw your pig’s paws and bottom

To create both the paws and collars for your pig, you’ll want to draw a line from one leg to the other, as shown above.

Draw a pig’s tail

Oh, the pig’s tail! This might be everyone’s favorite part. To create the pig’s tail, create a swirl from the side of the pig.
