How To Draw A Cute Carrot with this how-to video and step-by-step drawing instructions. How to draw cartoons for beginners and kids.

Step 1
We’ll start off simple with this tutorial on how to draw a carrot! To get started, all you have to do is draw a curve like the one that appears in our reference image.
There will also be a small curved line at the bottom of the line that will form the top of the carrot. Once you’ve drawn that line, we can move on to the next step!
Step 2
Draw the other side of the carrot
You have completed one side of the carrot drawing, so now we will draw the other side in this next step.
To do this, simply draw another curve next to the one from the previous step.
When positioning it, the shape should be thin at the bottom, wider when taller, and then rounded at the top.
You can also add some small curves in the center of the top part of the carrot where the leaves of the carrot will join.
Step 3
Start drawing the leaves of the carrot in this step
We have drawn the outline of the carrot, so now we will focus on the leaves. To start this part of the carrot, simply draw two thin shapes on the upper left side of the carrot.
The image on the right will be slightly taller than the image on the left. These shapes will be flat at the top for one and slightly more rounded for the other.
We will continue to add more leaves in the next few steps.
Step 4
Keep adding leaves to your carrots
In the fourth part of your carrot drawing, we will add some more leaves. You can draw these next to the ones in the previous step.
They can be more or less the same length, but you can make them a little thinner or thicker depending on your preference.
They will also alternate between having flat tops and rounder tops like the previous leaves did!
Step 5
The end of the last leaves
You’re almost done with your carrot leaves, so we’ll be adding the final leaves to this step of our how to draw a carrot tutorial.
This step requires two more leaves and the first one will be as tall as the neighboring ones.
The final leaf will then be slightly smaller than the others, have a rounded top, and also have a small gap between one leaf and the other.
After you have it like the example in our reference image, you’re ready for the next step!
Step 6
Now let’s draw the last details of the carrot
Before you move on to the final step of the carrot drawing, there are only a few final details left to add!
To add some texture to the carrot we will be using some small horizontal lines along the carrot as you can see in our reference image.
After you’ve added those, your carrots are pretty much done!
Before you move on to the final step, this would be a great opportunity to add any additional details you’d like.
You can also create a beautiful background for pictures! Some examples you could do would be to draw a background that makes it look like the orange part of a carrot is lying underground with leaves sticking out from above.
You can also draw something like a cute bunny or some other vegetable sitting near it!
