Step 1

First draw the eyes in a circle. Draw the pupils inside the eyes.

Step 2

Create a fish body similar to a rugby ball. But there are more flat and round types of fish. So let’s try to draw different options.

Step 3

Draw the water creature’s large lips under the eyes. They must be quite plump, like Instagram users.

Step 4

In this step, we add fins to the fish’s body. Different fish have different shapes and fins, so experiment to get the shape of different fish.

Step 5

Add some scales like in my example. On the fins, draw vertical lines, this action will help your fish look more natural.

Step 6

If you do everything right then you will get such a fish. The only thing left to do is to remove all the unwanted lines from your photo.

Step 7

We just need to add a little color to our fish. I decided to use yellow, but you can paint your fish any color of the rainbow.
