Step 1
Draw your fox’s head
The first step to making your fox is to draw its head. To do this, draw a symmetrical shape as shown above. It will look like a lemon when viewed from the side.
Step 2
Draw fox ears
You can draw the fox’s ears by creating two triangle-like shapes on top of the head you just drew. Draw a second pair of smaller triangles within the first to complete your fox ears. For best results, the distance between the ears and the distance between the ears and one side of the fox’s head should be roughly the same. This will give a more balanced look.
Step 3:
Draw a fox eye
The third step is to start with your cute fox eyes. Draw two ovals around the center of your fox’s head. Try to line them up with their respective ears. For example, the right eye would end around the midpoint of the right ear.
For the pupils, draw two smaller ovals, one for each eye, located in the upper right corner. This will help you create a very cute eyes.
Step 4:
Color the trellis and draw eyebrows
The fourth step is to simply shade in each lattice and draw some brows. The shader doesn’t require anything fancy. Just paint the eyes black. Then add an eyebrow above each eye, as shown above.
Step 5:
Draw a fox nose
The fox’s nose should be in the middle of the fox’s face and start at the bottom of the eyes. When drawing the fox’s nose, think of it as if you were drawing a heart, except that the top center of it has no recesses.
Step 6:
Draw your fox’s mouth
Next, you will draw your fox’s mouth. To draw the mouth, create a curved line resembling a wide ‘W’. The mouth should be below your fox’s nose. It should be around the point between the nose and chin, a little closer to the nose.
Step 7:
More details on your fox face
Step seven will be adding small details to make up your fox, well, foxy! Add two angled lines as shown above to the inside of the fox’s ears. Next, draw two more diagonal lines over the outer ear.
You will then draw a line starting from the side of your fox’s head and extending down to the top of its nose. This line will intersect through the top third of the lattice.
Step 8:
Draw your fox’s body
To draw the fox’s body, create two vertical lines that curve down from either side of the fox’s head. The lines will begin to taper inward and then curve slightly outward and back at the bottom. The length of each line should be equal to the length from the top center of the fox’s head to its chin.
Step 9:
Draw the front leg
For maximum cuteness, draw two legs connected in the center. This means drawing two lines for each leg. You will want to start the outer line of the folding leg with the outside of the corresponding eye. The inside of the legs will begin to line up with the outer corner of the fox’s mouth.
Step 10:
Draw the details of your fox’s body
Now you will draw the details of your fox’s body. To do so, copy the symmetrical squiggly lines shown above.
Step 11:
Draw your fox’s hind legs
To draw the fox’s hind legs, create two simple circles as shown above.
Step 12:
Draw the hind feet
Draw two wide circles on the bottom of the fox’s hind legs to create its legs.
Step 13:
Draw a fox tail
For a cute fox, you will need a large fluffy tail. Draw a soft tail the same height as your fox’s body.
Step 14:
Draw the details of your fox’s tail
Now draw a squiggly line on your fox’s tail. This will separate the two colors of its tail.
