You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

Step 1

Start by drawing a long curved line. This begins the outline of the fruit.

Step 2

Complete the teardrop-shaped outline of the fruit with a long, curved line. Then, draw a small ā€œCā€ shaped line across the wide end of the fruit. This is where the trunk used to attach the mango to the tree.

Step 3

Draw a pair of parallel curved lines from the end of the “C” shaped line, forming the mango body. Erase part of the original outline if necessary.

Step 4

Close the end of the stem with another ā€œCā€ shaped line. Then draw short curved lines on the top and bottom of the trunk.

Step 5

Extend a long, curved line from the trunk. Then extend another long curve from the first one. This begins the outline of the mango leaves.

Step 6

Use a long curved line to complete the outline of the leaf. Erase the original border of the fruit where the leaf passes. Then, extend a long, curved line from the opposite side of the stem. This forms the stem and central vein of the second leaf.

Step 7

Draw a long curved line across the leaf stem. Allowing it to meet the vein on each side, outline the leaf.

Step 8

Complete the leaf tip with another curved line. This gives the leaf a three-dimensional appearance. Then texture the leaf with short lines to indicate the veins.

Step 9

Draw veins on the remaining leaf to indicate the veins.

Step 10

Color your cartoon mango. Mangoes start out green then turn yellow, orange or red as they ripen.
