How To Draw A Toad with this how-to video and step-by-step drawing instructions. Easy animals to draw for beginners and kids.
Please see the drawing tutorial in the video below
You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below
Step 1
The first step to drawing a toad, like any of my other tutorials, is to draw a large oval, which will be the body of the toad, and a smaller circle for the head.
Step 2
The toad has very short and stout legs, which we will draw in two parts. First, draw an oval extending from the body of the toad, pointing straight out, and another oval of the same size facing the ground.
Step 3
The toad has four fingers, but for this pose, only three are shown. Draw the toad’s fingers as thin and wavy – with the middle finger being the longest.
Step 3
Alternatively, we can draw a small oval near the back of our toad, which will be its hind legs.
Step 4
Draw the toes of the toad’s hind legs, just as you did the toes in the previous step.
Step 5
Draw a line through the middle of your toad, which will be its mouth, and two circles that will serve as markers for the eyes.
Step 6
As you can see in the image on the left, the eye of the toad needs to be divided into a smaller circle in each circle you drew in the last step. This will be the actual eyeball of the toad, with the eyelids surrounding it.
Step 7
Provide your toad with two very small nostrils and a large gland located behind its eyes.
Step 8
At this point, your toad is almost done. As you can see in the image, all that’s left to do is add a little texture to the skin of the toad and give it the famous warts.
