You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below
Draw the treble clef 1 step 1. Get a sheet of paper with the staff on it (You can click here for a free white printable piano sheet).
A Vertical Line – Now draw a vertical line on the left side of the staff, where the treble clef is normally located. Make sure the vertical line is longer than the stick, hanging at the ends.
Draw the key of the treble step 22. The letter G – What we are going to do next is draw the letter G starting from the second line. Notice how I set the boundary of the belly for the third and bottom lines.
Realize that you shouldn’t make your belly too wide. It needs some practice.
I kept drawing the curve until I reached the end of the letter on the fifth line.
Basically, what I’m doing is creating a spiral or, as some have seen, I draw the number 6.
Draw the key of the treble step 33. Semicircle – Now I will move to the other side of the horizontal line and bend this line in a semicircle to the edge of the vertical line.
Draw the key of the treble Step 4. Curved tail – All I have to do now is add a small curved tail at the bottom of the vertical line.
Draw a final result of your treble and Walla, here! a key of beautiful treble.
Advice:
1. The music clef can be drawn in a number of ways. You can start from the tail for example.
The reason I chose to draw this way is because the vertical line will ensure that your clef will be balanced.
You will then draw a G to help you perceive the essence of the clef.
2. The tail is just an ordinary decoration. You can skip it if you don’t like the tail.
3. When drawing the Key, I usually start from the second line, I draw a spiral and curvy at the top, then I go all the way down to the tail.
By drawing the clef this way, I save time because I don’t have to take the pen or pencil off the paper. I just drew it smoothly in one go.
4. The clef of the music was originally named G’s clef. That’s because you can actually put it in different places on the staff and it will tell you that the G on the middle of the C should be played. .
When the clef of the music is on the second line, we name it the treble clef (which is what you will see almost always in music).
5. As you may have noticed, the vertical line in the final drawing is slightly tilted. This is the most common way to draw a musical clef. So if you’re sure about the clef’s proportions, you can skew your line as well.
