Please see the drawing tutorial in the video below
You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below
Step 1
This surrogate cat guide begins with a head shot. Let’s draw the guide lines: a circle, two triangles for the ears, the guide lines on the face, and the basic form of the muzzle.
Step 2
Draw two big eyes and mouth.
Step 3
Add a small triangular nose with nostrils and chin.
Step 4
Follow the guide lines to draw the ears.
Step 5
Now draw the outline of the head and add the long fur and other details inside the ears.
Step 6
Add details on the fur and long beard starting from the muzzle and a few short hairs above the eyes.
Step 7
Add details inside the eyes (pupils, shadows and lights) and your wildcat is done. Now, if you like, you can add signature stripes on its coat. The markings are symmetrical, notice the “M” like the mark on the forehead of a wildcat.
Step 8
In this section and in the next steps, we will draw a full-body wildcat. As always, first draw guide lines like the ones you see in the figure. Wild cats are generally larger than domestic cats with longer legs and a more robust body.
Step 9
Draw the forehead, muzzle and eyes.
Step 10
Add ears, mouth, part of nose and chin.
Step 11
Complete the nose, add the points from which the whiskers begin and add details to the ears.
Step 12
Draw the neck of the wildcat.
Step 13
This time I decided to divide the feet into three steps instead of one, I hope it helps. Well, let’s start with the forefoot and the rounded top of the foot.
Step 14
Now, the toes. Wild cats have five toes on their front paws (four toes + one big toe) and four toes on their hind feet. In this case, only three toes are visible. Draw the first curve that divides the two toes, then add the remaining one and complete the previous part
Step 15
Add the fur parts of the retractable claws and the paws are completed.
Step 16
Draw the shoulders, back and belly fluff (here the fur is quite long).
Step 17
Add the remaining legs and long ponytail.
Step 18
Add some detail to your feral cat and you’re almost done.
Step 19
Add details inside the eyes and your lynx drawing is done! I hope you follow this guide!
