You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below
Step 1
Start by drawing two long, roughly parallel lines. Note, however, that the lines are farther apart at one end and closer together at the other. These lines form the branch to which the acorn is attached.
Step 2
Use a short, curved line to wrap the wide end of the branch. Extend a few short, parallel lines from the middle of the branch. This is the body that will connect to the acorn cap.
Step 3
Using two curved lines, draw a crescent moon dangling over the tree trunk. This is your acorn cap, or cupule.
Step 4
Use a long, curved line to enclose the shape of the acorn fruit, called a nut or pericarp. Notice that the edges are almost straight, and the little bulge at the top, the rest of the oak style.
Step 5
Use curved lines to enclose the second crescent, partially obscured by the first. Draw a short line to indicate the trunk and connect the cap to the main branch.
Step 6
Use a long, curved line to outline the shape of the acorn fruit. Again, note the overhang at the top.
Step 7
Draw three long, curved lines extending from the top of the branch, just above the cherry blossom. These will form the veins of the oak leaves.
Step 8
Sketch lobed oak leaves around each ridge, using a long, wavy line for each ridge.
Step 9
Extend short, curved lines outward from each leaf vein, forming the secondary veins. Detail of acorn fruit hats with slashes.
Step 10
Color your flowers and leaves. Acorns are green when they are young, turning brown as fall approaches. Your leaves can be green or red, yellow, orange, and brown in the fall.
