You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

Step 1

Start by drawing a circle to outline the fox’s head.

Step 2

Draw a wide “U” shaped line that overlaps the top of the head. Then draw curved lines from the ends of the “U” to the circle, enclosing the rounded triangles. They will form the fox’s ears. Draw a wide “U” shaped line below the circle and connect it to the circle using short curved lines joined at the jagged points. This forms the fox’s snout and jaw.

Step 3

Place a circle below the head using a series of short curved lines connected by serrated points. The lines must connect at the bottom in the downward point. This forms the fox’s furry chest, which is sometimes called the furry.

Step 4

Using a long, curved line, enclose a circle below and to the side of the neckline. This indicates the body of the fox.
Step 5

Extend two sets of parallel lines down from the body, forming the legs. Place one foot on the bottom of each foot, using multiple curved lines to indicate the toes.

Step 6

Draw two curved lines in the body, forming an incomplete circle. This is the hip or hip of the fox. Connect the lines by drawing fox paws, using some short curved lines to indicate the toes.

Step 7

Erase the guide lines from the fox’s face and body.

Step 8

Extend two long, curved lines up from the back of the fox’s body. Allow the lines to meet at a gentle point, forming a bushy tail. Use short curved lines that join at jagged points to enclose a circular rhombus at the tip of the tail.

Step 9

Detail of the fox’s face and body. Surround the triangles in each ear to form the inner ear. Use short lines to add fur texture to the ears, face, chest, and tail. Draw a circle to form the eyes and fill in the dark spots on each side. Use a curved line over each eye to form the eyelid and a shaded circle within a circle to represent the pupil. Attach curved shapes for eyebrows and circles for noses. Use a curved “W” to indicate the mouth.

Step 10

Color your arctic fox. In winter, arctic foxes are snow-white, but their summer coats are gray. Foxes can appear spotted when changing one coat for another.
