How to Draw Astro Boy step by step

Step 1

This lesson will be extremely simple. We’ll start with the outline of Astroboy’s round head and body. For this step, we use very simple geometric shapes, such as circles and cylinders.

Step 2

To make drawing Astro Boy even easier, in this step we will draw the most basic details. Let’s start with the head and draw the outline of the eyes and an unusual hairstyle. Next, sketch the fingers, shorts and shoes.

Step 3

Draw oval eyes and round pupils inside them. Next, we draw Astro Boy’s facial features and hairstyle. Draw the character’s nose, mouth, ears, and frown. If you did everything as in our example then move on to the next step.

Step 4

A fairly simple step, we just need to circle the contours of the torso and arms. Carefully draw the fingers and erase all unnecessary guides from the Astro Boy drawing.

Step 5

It’s time to draw Astro Boy’s legs. Continue drawing the body line, gently drawing the legs and shoes. In the same step, we need to draw flames coming from the character’s feet. In the same step, we will need to remove all unnecessary normals from our drawing.

Step 6

This is the final step of the lesson on how to draw Astro Boy. In this step we will need to draw the eyes, hair and shorts, leaving a little glare, as our artists did. By the way, another small detail – eyelashes, must be drawn with very short lines.
