Step 1
Start by sketching Bowser’s face. Use a half circle for the top of the head. Then use a series of overlapping curves to draw a lumpy nose and jaw. Use curved lines to outline the rectangle inside the mouth. Draw triangular teeth along the top and bottom of the mouth. Use short lines to indicate nostrils.
Step 2
Surround the irregular shape of Bowser’s eyes and his bushy, pointed eyebrows with curved lines. Inside the eye, draw a circle within a circle. Color smaller to indicate pupil. Extend curved triangles from the sides of the head to form the horns. Draw a curved line around the base of a horn. Next, use curved lines that meet at points to outline the hair and border of the turtle-like shell. Finally, draw a long curved line to form the top of the shell.
Step 3
Draw triangular spikes emerging from the shell, erasing guide lines if necessary. Draw a curved line around the base of each one.
Step 4
Draw Bowser’s outstretched arm. Use overlapping curves to outline palms and fingers. Draw a curved triangle to indicate the claw. Draw the lower part of the arm with a straight line and draw it with curved lines. Add triangles or circles to every other strip to represent spikes.
Step 5
Draw a series of overlapping curves to form the lower part of the Bowser.
Step 6
Use overlapping curves to outline the remaining hand and finger. Draw triangular claws, erasing guide lines as needed. Use curved lines to form the arms. Bandage the arm with curved lines, forming a bracelet. Draw triangular spikes on the bracelet.
Step 7
Use overlapping curves to outline Bowser’s legs, bent at the knees, as well as his feet. Draw a curved, triangular, or claw-shaped toenail on the tip of each toe.
Step 8
Draw a curved line to complete Bowser’s shell. Then, extend the two lines to form the tail, allowing them to meet at a gentle point. Draw triangular spikes on the shell.
Step 9
Use curved lines to outline the remaining leg, complete with the triangular claws.
Step 10
