You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below
Step 1
Start by drawing an oval. This will help you sketch the first glove.
Step 2
Use a curved line to enclose a rounded rectangle on top of the oval. This forms the wrist of the glove.
Step 3
Remove the oval from the wrist. Then, enclose the wrist in a rectangle.
Step 4
Erase one side of the oval. Use overlapping curved lines to form the thumb and gauntlet of the glove. Use short curved lines to draw a star pattern at the point where the two lines intersect.
Step 5
Draw a second oval that overlaps the first glove. Delete as needed.
Step 6
Erase the top of the oval and outline a rectangle with rounded corners. It will overlap the first glove, so remove as necessary. This forms the wrist of the glove. Then enclose another rectangle in the first shape. Draw curves on the glove sole to represent the curvature of the material.
Step 7
Erase the edge of the oval. Sketch the thumb and glove using two overlapping curved lines. Use shorter curves to draw a star pattern at the point where the two lines meet. Then draw a curved line from the wrist to this junction, indicating a seam.
Step 8
Draw a circle above the glove. This will form the hook to hang the gloves. Draw a “U” shaped line above it. Below it, extend the two curves and double them back to itself. Then draw pairs of lines from the hook to each glove. This represents the rope used to hang the gloves.
Step 9
Detail of the glove. Draw curved lines across the wrist and side of the glove to indicate creases and seams.
Step 10
Color your boxing gloves. They are usually red.
