And yes – now let’s dive into the drawing, go ahead and sketch a simple Clefairy-like face, with the “swirl” mark on the top of its head – something like this…

Move the sides of the vortex now – this is how Clefairy’s body is drawn – starting with pointed triangular ears and followed by some tiny arms.

Note – I’ve simplified the “claw” to rounded tips here. I did this to make it easier for you. Of course, add the claws and any other details you see fit.

Quite frankly now – next, go ahead and sketch in Clefairy’s round body – 5 curves, or yes – another way you can look at it/do it…

A circle is created with Photoshop, and then cropped/deleted in those places, when it makes sense to do so. Either way works!

Oh, and I actually made a small mistake when the tail met the wing. The right wing (or maybe) overlaps the tail slightly *instead of* vice versa.
