Step 1
Start sketching Dog Man by drawing the head. Use a long curved line to enclose the irregular shape. Cover a small circle at the tip of the snout to form the nose. Use a long curved line for the smiley face.
Step 2
Draw a square on top of the head to represent Dog Man’s hat. Along the bottom of the square, draw a thick line. This is the brim of the hat. Draw two vertical curved lines for the eyes and draw three dots next to the nose to represent the beard.
Step 3
Use curved lines to draw a tulip-like shape on the front of the hat. Round the ear by extending a curved line from the top and duplicating it back to itself.
Step 4
Draw another slightly curved square below the head, forming the torso of the body. Draw short horizontal lines from head to torso, forming the character’s beard. Draw the remaining ear, again extending a curved line from the top and doubling it back onto itself.
Step 5
Sketch Dog Man’s “L” shaped arms.
Step 6
Draw by hand, erasing as necessary. Use a series of short curved lines to indicate the fingers.
Step 7
Draw the other side. Again, use a series of short curved lines to indicate the fingers.
Step 8
Draw Dog Man’s legs. For each leg, extend a pair of parallel lines below the body. Notice the even curves to form the knees. Then draw an oval at the bottom of a set of lines to form the foot.
Step 9
Complete your Dog Man outline by enclosing the irregular circle of the remaining food and drawing the tulip symbol on his shirt using a curved line and two “V” shaped lines.
Step 10
Color your Dog Man cartoon. He is a brown dog. His uniform is blue with a yellow logo.
