Step 1
Draw an oval
Take a plain white sheet of paper and draw a long oval along the diagonal of the paper. This is the base of your rocket hull.
Step 2
Draw the main body
Be the main body
A rocket ship has a pointed front. To draw the shape, stretch the outline of the oval along the length of the shape and connect the lines to create two pointed ends on either side of the shape.
The new shape will resemble a pointed leaf. This figure is the main body of your rocket ship. Refer to figure (2) for better understanding.
Step 3
Remove ovals
Now erase the rounded corner of the oval with the help of an eraser and you will have a leaf-like shape in front of you. But don’t worry, we’re still drawing a rocket ship. Read the next step!
Step 4
Create an arc
Make an arc at the bottom of the pointed body and erase the part below the arc. This will be your rocket launch part. And tada! The main missile fuselage is complete.
Step 5
Draw the left fin
The next step is to draw the fins of your rocket ship. Starting near the bottom of the body, draw a small curved line that curves downward.
Now, at a small distance above this curve, draw another larger curve that bends down and joins it to the previous curve.
Two pointed curves will create a fin shape.
Step 6
Drawing Right Fin and Nose Hat
Draw the fin on the right
Repeat ‘Step 5’ on the right to create the right fin and your rocket ship now has both fins looking perfect.
Now draw the cap or nose cone of your rocket ship. Just draw a small curved line to create a cone in front or above your rocket.
Step 7
Create two windows
Then you have to draw two windows so that the astronauts can look out at the galaxy which is very beautiful right?
To make the window, draw a circle just below the bow of your ship and draw another slightly larger circle below the first one. And there you have windows. This is an easy step, right?
Step 8
Draw rocket flames
It’s time to launch the rocket, that is, it’s time to attract the fire.
Make a small curved open triangle and repeat four times in a row. Hold the end triangle slightly inward. This step can be a bit difficult, but you should still give it a try. Refer to figure 9 for better understanding.
Tip: Teach your child to draw flames with this simple method. Create the letter M and then connect the rocket ship to the letter M using a curved line. And draw a semicircle behind the duoiwsddeer creating the earth.
Step 9
Coloring rocket ship
Once the outline of your cartoon rocket ship is ready, it’s time to color it and it’s very easy.
Color the body and fins with Blue, the rocket cap with Red, and use Orange to color the flames. You can leave the windows white or fill them with any dark color.
You can use crayons, crayons or watercolors; anything will be easy for your child.
Make sure the stroke is only in one direction for the perfect finish. Use a black marker to outline the rocket.
