You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

Step 1

First, we will draw the outline of two circles corresponding to our character’s head and body. As with many other examples of the cartoon style, the head is disproportionately large. Defective neck.

Step 2

Now we can draw the basic features of the face – big, oval eyes and an even larger round nose. There is a very small gap between the eyes.

Step 3

The big round mustache is a trademark for the style of the male characters in the Mario universe. So let’s draw a mustache and a mouth like a little dash.

Step 4

Luigi has rather cartoonish facial features. In this step we will continue to draw this. So draw large, protruding ears and visor from the locksmith’s hat.

Step 5

So in the last step we start drawing the cap. We’ll now finish this off with a few circles above the outline of our character’s head. Don’t forget about the bright and prominent logo on the lid.

Step 6

Add small details like sideburns, brows and hairline at the bottom of the nape.

Step 7

In this step, let’s add some small details to the clothes. These are the little jumper lanyards every locksmith needs. Don’t forget to draw small circles like in our sample.

Step 8

In this step we will draw the long and round sleeves of our character. Note the wide, rounded edges on the far sleeves.

Step 9

Drawing fists is quite a difficult thing. So check out our special tutorial on how to draw a fist. Don’t forget to check out our tutorial’s proportions – the fists look bigger than they actually are.

Step 10

So we continue with the tutorial on how to draw Luigi from Mario. In this step, we add the contours of the wide pants.

Step 11

Let’s draw round boots, which are a basic accessory for builders and locksmiths. Don’t forget to draw a small contour of the base with areas of protruding relief.

Step 12

We always leave a special step where you can evaluate the entire sketch before working on the paint. We did not break this tradition in this lesson. Look at your drawing and see if all the shapes and proportions are correct. Correct any inaccuracies by erasing.

Step 13

Luigi’s traditional colors are green and blue. So use these colors to create a familiar look for this character. A darker base color will help you paint a lighter shade.
