You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below
Step 1
Start by drawing an “M” shaped circle. This forms the top of Lorax’s head.
Step 2
Next, draw a wide, circular “M” shape connecting the sides of the previous “M” and extending beyond it. Draw a series of short curved lines that form jagged points below each leg of the “M.” Then connect these lines with an inverted “V” shaped curve. This forms Lorax’s mustache. Mustache texture with curves.
Step 3
Use curved lines to draw eyebrows, erase if necessary. Use short curved lines that meet at jagged points, giving the brows a feathery or hairy appearance. Just above the mustache, surround two circles to form the eyes. Within each eye, surround a series of consecutive smaller circles. The shadow between the two is the smallest to form the pupil. Use curved lines to draw the nose, nostrils, and bottom of the mouth. Draw the top of the mouth using a series of jagged curves.
Step 4
Use curved lines that meet at jagged points to draw one side of the body with fur. Then use curved lines to enclose the arms and fingers. Notice the bulges in the elbows and palms.
Step 5
Continue the body with a series of curved lines that meet at jagged points.
Step 6
Draw a short line below the chin. Then use long curved lines to draw the arms. Note the overlap at the elbows. Enclose the hand and each finger with curved lines. Then continue the body using a series of short lines that meet at jagged points.
Step 7
Use curves of different lengths to give the body a hairy texture.
Step 8
Draw Lorax’s legs. Extend a pair of curved lines below the body. Then use additional lines to enclose the foot, a curved rectangle.
Step 9
Draw the remaining leg and foot. Extend a pair of curved lines below the body, then enclose the rectangular feet.
Step 10
Coloring Lorax. He is orange with yellow eyebrows and mustache.
